I listened to the PC, let me also preface this by saying that this is just my opinion and nothing more...

However, Garrett did NOT seem very honest when answering the question...

Garrett didn't come right out and say that Marinelli wanted to be back...

A reporter asked garrett if RM had expressed to Garrett that he wanted to be back and garrett took a small pause and Imo, w no real conviction, said yes...

It wasn't very assuring...but again, that's just my opinion...his answer at the end of the day was a yes, so I could be wrong

If I had to choose the coach to lose, it would be Callahan.

We need to get him some talent on D.

The Cowboys is the most high-profile job one can have, so if Marinelli has his eyes on ever getting another head coaching gig, he would be wise to stay in Dallas.

I don't know why this should be surprising to anyone. Dallas is a team that can contend next year while TB is light years away from contending.

in todays parity NFL, usually i can agree with you, on this one no. I think most temas can be flipped wiht a couple players and the right schemes. Thats my opinon tho.

What happened to all the talk that he's leaving? It was pretty obvious that he likes it here and has loyalty to this franchise. He hasn't signed the dotted line yet but it points to the fact he's gonna be our defensive coordinator for years to come.

Great news!!

I'm sure Marinelli and his agent is thrilled at Garrett for undermining his Tampa negotiating tactic that they've been setting up for months. :p

I think Broaddus said that Marinelli would go be the DL coach. The point is Broaddus never claimed that he knew exactly what Rod was thinking or was going to do and he emphasized that aspect while saying it was all his own personal belief.

Some people obviously thought what he said was 100% truth, to include the media.

No doubt in my mind that the Tampa rumors came from the opinions of Broaddus and the media took it and ran with it.

Thus the reason why you should not trust opinions and that FACTS and LOGIC actually makes more sense in the real world.

If and when, it's good news. It's difficult for me to think someone would have done better this year with the talent and injuries.

It's all about the money, even for old timers. Rod has an agent, and that guy will make sure Rod makes the most money he can. Wouldn't shock me if all the TB rumors were just part of an agent oiling Jerry's pockets.
