Marion Barber Big Game Today

That is my prediction for today. Thoughts?

watching Felix eat it up and being his homecoming of sorts ...it wouldnt surprise me

yeah, its his homecoming, its a big game. I expect him to run pretty hard.

Give him between 8-12 carries in certain situations and later in the game. Let him set the pace, and then finish the game off, but the majority of carries should be Jones, with sprinkles of choice.

I say run the rock 25-30 times during the course of the game.

Note that we ran the ball 35 times last week, and 32 times the week before that. Romo had 3 rushes in each game.

we're doing well because we're focusing more on the run, and its setting up the play action.

The strength of our offense is in our balance. We have to establish the run on a team who has been stopping the run. It has also kept our defense more rested.

3 and outs, and ball control offense are great ways to win in the playoffs.

Look at the Cardinals... they lost not only because their defense couldn't stop New Orleans but their offense coffed the ball up numerously. So many mistakes on offense it wasn't even funny.

You get behind on a playoff team and its pretty much over. Surprised Green Bay couldn't put Arizona out last week. They're clearly the worst team in the playoffs. They're 89 points over two weeks on defense equals the Cowboys last 8 weeks of football.

I honestly think as banged up as Barber is and how big the Williams boys are in the middle, that Felix will have the huge game taking advantage of their ends trying to get upfield at the QB. I'm liking Felix more & more.

I just don't see it. It is nearly impossible to run up the middle against the Williams brothers and Barber lacks the speed to get outside. I think Felix or Choice should have better games today.

Amen! That said, I really think we are gonna see some teeth today from Barber. For that matter, I think Minny will be shocked at how focused these guys are and how committed they are to winning. In the end, I still feel they will be too much for Minny. I'm predicting Favre gets knocked out of the game like he was last time they met. It won't be a blow out, but we win convincingly.

Barber is best as a B gap runner...off guard. If he hits Minny's second layer, he'll have a nice day. If Felix can hit the edge, he will kill Minny's slow front. The key will be to exploit their blitz, because their secondary is WEAK. Bubble screens will work good today, too. I can't wait to see the WIlliams boys getting their A*s ran all over the field. They'll have a heart attack by the 3rd quarter

Choice did not go to OU. He went to Georgia Tech.
