Marion Barber injury update..*MRI Results pending Post #36

if there's a bright side to this, it forces Garrett to use Felix more. But I hope Garrett doesn't get pass happy again.

I actually think Choice would perform just as well as Marion yesterday if given the same opportunities. The HOLES were HUGE.

The reason that I am not as concerned about this as I probably should be is because we have 2 other guys that can get the job done as well. Two other guys that I have complete confidence in.

MBIII was hurt last year and we just plugged and played....we'll be able to do that again. I'm not expecting MBIII to play this next week....regardless of what the MRI shows....you just don't drop like that and not have something wrong.

Mike Florio has just reported Marion Barber's Quad has to be removed and he is on the waiting list for a Quad transplant.

I cant believe that site is a credible source of info where league people go and read. All he does is post real journalists work on his website and give horrible opinions.

The longer we go without news the worse the condition and the more likely MBII will be out extensive amt of time.

If it's good news, the results of MRI would be out already.

Hopefully you're right jrumman, but the way he went down.......I honestly think they're delaying the announcement so he can save face. I was praying it was a heat related type cramp, they should just come out and say it. We ended up scoring anyway: no harm, no foul. Geez: more drama: ALWAYS more drama......................

Gosh I hope it was only a cramp...but supposedly MRI results did show a strain...who knows? I'm hoping, even if it isn't realistic, that somehow he plays against Carolina. 8 family members coming from South Dakota for this game, including ill father and nothing would make him happier than seeing the Barbarian out there!

I'm OK with giving Barber time to heal up. We have 2 good and very capable RBs in Jones and Choice, there's no need to rush Barber back.

That said, Garrett's got some work to do

Yeah, they really seemed to rush players back from injury last year. I know Barbers a WOOYA!

But they can get away with him missing a game or two this far into the season, even if he's the MVP so far.
