Marshawn Lynch under investigation
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is under investigation over an alleged assault and personal property damage claim, police said Monday.
The Bellevue, Washington, Police Department said in a release that the 28-year-old Lynch was accused by an unspecified female victim regarding an alleged incident at a downtown Bellevue apartment unit at 2:30 a.m. PT.
According to the police report, no domestic violence or sexual assault was alleged and no arrests have been made.
"This is only an allegation," Bellevue PD spokesman Seth Tyler told the Seattle Times. "We haven't even verified that [Lynch] was involved."
