Sure, it's completely up to him to share what he wants, how he wants. It's completely his prerogative. I like Bennett, and I like that he tweets frequently and is accessible to fans.

And I understand tweeting about things fans want to know, or things that are funny or interesting. It's just that personal tragedy is a hard thing to express adequately in 140 char or less, and doing so to an audience that primarily cares about how you play a game on the field struck me as awkward.

Sure, it's completely up to him to share what he wants, how he wants. It's completely his prerogative. I like Bennett, and I like that he tweets frequently and is accessible to fans.

And I understand tweeting about things fans want to know, or things that are funny or interesting. It's just that personal tragedy is a hard thing to express adequately in 140 char or less, and doing so to an audience that primarily cares about how you play a game on the field struck me as awkward.

From that perspective, if he goes out and stinks it up then this might be a plausible reason why.

I'm sorry for his loss but isn't it a bit much when you start talking about someone you don't know and their aunt, whom you REALLY don't know, who died?
