Somebody wrote in another thread that we were illegally downfield on that play but we were not at all. When the ball left Dak's hand we were completely legal

I read today that Elliot went untouched on all three of his TDs.
129 yards on three plays without being touched.
Amazing

Not only that, that 83 yard untouched screen counts a TD pass. Sweet.
We'll take it.

You know sometimes football is like ok what is it really who cares whatever right but I've watched the screen in slow motion a dozen times and there's something beautiful about those guys working together and selling out diving left and right just to keep their man upright and let him get the glory :,)

Leary was. He was about 6 yards beyond the LOS when the throw was made.

Edit: Nevermind. I was wrong. He was just past 1 yard. Video wasn't pausing well.

Good play. We should do it more often.

The incredible screen play that Zeke took to the house.

Watch the clip and you will see Martin makes a great block first followed by Fredbeard that helps spring Zeke.

What's even more amazing is that Pitt only rushed 4 and was playing coverage. They were also paying so much attention to Lucky that 2 players ran to Lucky and ran themselves out of the play.

I am amazed that we do not have more screen plays to Elliott at least 1-2 x per game with some misdirection screen to Lucky other times.

It was awfully close. Leary was a yard past the LOS when Dak threw it (which is what they allow) but he was running full speed ahead. One more second and we probably would have been flagged.

Leary was a couple yards downfield, but they never flag that (even though cushion is 1 yard)

They all work well together, and to think we have Collins for depth. Just need a Free replacement, retain Leary and we have a solid rotation for years to come.

I don't know if they can afford Leary at this point i think they're banking on Chaz and lael as cheap options for now while they work on zach martins deal

TWill did a decent job also without doing an illegal block the angle he had to pull off that block could have easily led to a block in the back
He is a great teammate. I love seeing him block down the field and he does it a lot. There's a ton of wide receivers that don't block like he does.

look where Lucky Whithead started and ended.
Far side of formation and almost caught up with them at end zone.

Big Ben and Todd Haley (offensive coordinator) enjoying Zeke's screen pass. If looks could kill.
