My god, I bet that you two were at the gas stations the past two days worrying that the world was going to end.

I don't really see the issue with this. The deal is going to get done. Martin jyst wants to focus on the season most likely

What would the Patriots do?

They wouldn't bend the knee i tell you that.

If being highest paid OG in the league isn't good enough for Martin, let him go.
Lol. Wow. You don't just let go of the best guard in the NFL. This isn't madden

It'll get done. Just time to think about football and not money. Cowboys just wanna see where some more pins fall and Martin wants to make sure he can get best deal he can get. Think its a good thing to get everyone focused on games now and since this wasnt an easy solution, put it off.

That was the one caveat to drafting an Oline full of 1st round selections (that happened to pan out well) is that they are going to cost us in the long run.

It's an issue that's been brought up several times.

I never looked at it as a negative.

The goal is to find good players and keep them in house. Zack Martin is one of the best players in the NFL and is set to become the highest paid guard in the league when the extension gets done.

Bluefin likes that we can't sign Martin.

 You are awful!

I don't doubt it, but I Jerry doesn't seem like the type of guy to "put contract talks on hold".

I can't remember the player but i seem to recall hearing this about a player a season or two ago.

Still---this report doesn't mean much. If one side flinches during the season, I'm sure talks will continue. He will be paid.

Oh yeah, I totally get it. You pay to play. ;)
