Austin signed with the Cowboys on Oct. 21 and played that weekend against the Lions, finishing with a tackle. He was unable to push through a back injury Sunday against the Vikings that first bothered him in practice late in the week.

This is why teams are leery of picking guys up they have not ties to. They don't want them to get hurt and be on the hook for them for the rest of the season. Had he shown enough for us to want him back next year...they would give him a little more rope. Oh well. We need healthy bodies that can eat space and chew up snaps. Bring on the next guy.

I am a tarheel fan and know Marvin was a monster in college. I was happy we signed him. To me he seems to heavy. I think he ate away his quickness.
