This really just explains why he was put on IR for the year. The Cowboys have to pay his salary but he doesn't count against the 53. He should know this defense inside and out by the time he sets foot on the field for OTAs next year. Of course, with his history, he'll probably break his foot or blow out a knee the first time he sets foot on the turf next year.

Nope. And I was hoping someone had an instagram account who followed him to verify it. I only posted the tweet based on Broaddus' response. His instagram is private, so I'm assuming he's not going to accept too many requests right now.

I think I'd hang around on that salary without feeling I was wasting years of my life.

He's going to get paid regardless so putting him on IR is fine since he doesn't take up a roster spot.

He's as good as gone next year if he has even the slightest of injuries. He'll have to be healthy through camp and stay that way.
