In any other profession being out of work for two years means your skills have "atrophied," so employers throw your resume right in the trash. Let's hope Johnson found a way to keep his skills intact these last two years.

I hope they sorta ease him in to full speed...if this guy has the talent that the coaching staff believes, then he may not start, but he will play a lot...the secondary can benefit from him if he can stay on the field

JJ Wilcox is a natural SS, and Hamilton doesn't have near the upside or instincts that Johnson has.

JJ Wilcox is not a natural anything quite yet, but his athleticism lends itself favorably to play free safety in the NFL.

Did you watch Hamilton's college game footage or are you basing that on his snaps with the Cowboys in 2013?

Wilcox has terrific coverage ability. He was terrific in the 1 on 1 coverage drills against WRs at the 2013 Senior Bowl practices. He was better against the same WRs than several of the CBs including Webb.

If Wilcox is so great why did they start Heath over him last year? Heath is better in the eyes of the staff and you guys bag on him mercilessly! Think about how much JJs game must be lacking.
