It's not like Redman looked like a complete JAG or anything last week. He was pretty solid. I think the Falcons have a shot still. It's not as good a shot, obviously, but I think they've still got a decent shot.

Redman is at least as good as Campbell. :) And the Falcons skill players are way better than Washington's. So they've got a chance.

Pretty sure Turner will be out as well.

Yup, Turner won't be playing. Eagles are going to have it easy vs. the Falcons. :banghead:

The Falcons losing wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, as long as we take care of the Giants. We'd still be ahead of the Eagles, and we still play them in the final game of the season. So if we beat the Giants, even if lose two of the next three, we'd still be able to win the division by beating the Eagles at home (if they win out -- we might win the division sooner if they lose once or twice).

And we own the tiebreaker over Atlanta, so another loss for them would improve our chances of at least getting a wild card.

On the bright side, Atlanta's season is pretty much over.

It's now 7 teams competing for 6 playoff spots

PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson's status is uncertain after he sustained a concussion in Sunday's 27-24 win over Washington.

Meanwhile, running back Brian Westbrook will be re-examined this week after missing the last two games with his second concussion of the season.

Jackson was injured on a hit after running a short crossing pattern in the third quarter. He didn't lose consciousness and left the field on his own.

"He doesn't feel bad today," coach Andy Reid said Monday. "We are as cautious as they come with concussions. We're going to continue to test him and go through the process."

The diminutive Jackson -- he's generously listed at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds -- is susceptible in traffic because of his size. He leads the team with eight touchdowns, all of which are 35 yards or more.

"We'll just see how he does over the next few days," Reid said. "That hit was more of the shoulder. It really wasn't on the head."

The team expects Westbrook to see specialists this week in Pittsburgh. The doctors said they wanted to see Westbrook 2-3 weeks after their previous exam Nov. 18.

"I'm not sure exactly what step the doctor will take with him," Reid said. "I don't know that. We'll see what phase the doctor feels he's at and the doctor will determine what he will do. If that's going back on the field, we'll do that. If that's more conditioning work in the weight room, we'll do that."

Westbrook experienced a mild headache last week after a workout. The 30-yar-old former All-Pro sustained his first career concussion when he hit his head on a defender's knee during a Monday night win at Washington on Oct. 26. He briefly lost consciousness but walked off the field under his own power.

Westbrook returned against San Diego on Nov. 15 after missing two games. But he sustained another concussion when he got sandwiched between a blocker and a tackler on a screen play.

"I know a lot is being said about concussions," Reid said. "We are as conscious as they come with concussions. We are going to do everything within our power to get (Jackson) the proper treatment and diagnosis. To compare to Brian's, are we going to be more cautious? No. We're always cautious. We're going to do what we do."

Not really. First of all the Eagles don't make it easy against any team especially on the road. Also I watched some of that Falcons game and they still have capable backs in Norwood and Snelling. Gonzales and White are still going to be difficult for the Eagles to stop. Redman also looked pretty good yesterday coming in under fire like that. Also Jackson and possibly Celek being out for the Eagles. This game will not be easy for the Eagles.

You never know...although the Commanders "D" is FAR superior to the Falcons' D.

The Eagirls caught a break, again.

I thought Chris Redman played pretty well yesterday. I know...it was against the Bucs, but he was still getting creamed every other play and still lead his team to the go ahead score.

The Eagles aren't out of the woods with this one, especially with both Westbrook and Jackson out.
