I think after Dez left the NYG game and early on in the PHI game, TWill may have been trying to hard to do well.

The drops are not like him, and he looked just a bit off. I think he may have put some undue pressure on himself to almost be Dez. TWill works when he's being TWill. Romo has said that TWill is great after the catch and we saw it in that PHI game, especially on the TD run with that long stride that left Maxwell in the dust.

Hopefully from here on out he just keeps being TWill and keeps doing things the TWill way and doesn't worry too much about trying to be a hero or trying to fit into somebody else's shoes

I never understood the Williams hate. Some people are just dead set on irrationally hating someone.
Well maybe you not watching the games at times then. I don't hate him but he drops some easy passes esp for someone who makes the awesome ones he does. That's my and most people's problem with him and the body catching. I mean he has like 3/4 drops already that's not good. That's what most people don't like from what I see not they hate him

if they aren't a superstar people hate them for not being good enough.
if they are a superstar people hate them for a multitude of reasons.
fans are fickle, and oftentimes, dumb.

Sometimes folks just expect more depending on where someone was drafted. I kind of like my receivers to be able to catch the ball when it hits them between the numbers but I guess I'm just fickle like that.

Considering Dez has only 5 catches for this season, I don't see how this is a good comparison.

I looked at 2014 as well and again Dez had a higher percentage of drops than Williams. There is no doubt that Dez is a great WR, he will make catches few others can but he will also drop some passes and percentage wise more than Williams.

He has 1 drop according to stats, balls knocked down is not considered a drop

I don't care what them stats say since i don't know what they using but I watch the games and saw more than one drop this year. I'm not the only one that sees it either so maybe we all watching. Twill games in an alternate universe where he really don't drop easy balls lol

That is your take. I think Williams has done fine all the BS of he can't get open and make plays without Dez there is a load a BS. I love Dez and no doubt Dez is the main man and will be glad when he returns but the crud Williams takes from some are totally ridicules. He has not dropped a lot of passes this season or any other season and like it or not percentage wise Dez has dropped more that is pure fact not spin

No duh its my take and plenty of people agree with it. I just don't think it means we hate this guy as people like to say when its not all praise was my main point on top of explaining why most people seem to feel that way.if you relying on % online instead of watching the game yeah I'm not taking that serious and either or many others. Take that to the draftkings forum or something lol.

I watch the game, hell I don't miss any game since 1965. I think Williams needs to improve battling for the ball, he gets balls knocked out of his hands at times however that is not considered a dropped pass. I have no issue with constructive criticism on any player but some of the crud said about Williams is flat out spin and in some cases ignorance

So you're getting on us from technicalities? Come on you know if you have to go there you don't have much to stand on as far as what I'm and others seem to be talking about regarding his catching, battling, etc for the ball? That's what people are talking about maybe they don't get as technical as you want them to but you know that's probably what they mean if not talking about outright drops. It just seems if its contested he's isn't close to a lock to get the ball as often as he should on top of outright dropping passes at times.

Not a technicality it is the difference between a pass defended and a dropped pass. I think Williams needs to be a big more physical going for the ball, but as far as not hanging on to passes that is just not the case.

Its a technicality in that you know what people are talking about but acting as if your oblivious. That's what I'm talking about mostly and that drop thing I'm not paying no attention to because like most people them non drops that a lot of people are referring to also had the QB looking for different people too parts of last year. If that don't tell you what you need to know about his non drops I don't know what else can.

Why would I care what most people think? It is what it is there is a difference, I understand that difference those who don't that is not my problem. So call them drop passes if you want.

T-Will's productivity alone has taken a quite encouraging quantum leap from what it was in year's past. He just keeps getting better all the time. That being the case, It should be interesting to see what he's like in another year or two. It seems obvious to me he's developing into a really valuable asset to our WR corps.

He will have a tough test this week vs Desmond Trufant. I'm sure he will be locked up on Williams for much of the game.

Should be interesting to take note how he fares vs. one of the best CBs in the game. If they cancel each other out, I'm not worried, though. We've got enough weapons to overcome just about any talented opposition, imo. Here's hoping Witten's able to play, though. Doing w/o him would always present a challenge.
