Devean George is a has been. It is ironic, because the Mavs are at there best when they push the ball up the floor and use Terry/Harris speed and Howards athletism. Then use Stackhouse to spot up for the three's. But, the Warriors strong point is a high tempo, fast paced helter skelter style. So, that wipes out the Mavs strength. What the Mavs really need to do, is sit Dirk down in the low block and feed it to him everytime down the floor. But, it seems Dirk does not want to get dirty down there. He always wants to set up at the top of the key and he has no foot speed to beat them. Nevertheless, Go Warriors!

the problem is Irk just isnt that type of player, he did it in last years playoffs with some success last year, but its just not a role he is comfortable with. i think they got good athletic people to defend him, and in the low block? that huge euro guy would RAPE him(the guy that misses pretty much all his free throws and has like a top 3 shooting percentage overall, i forget his name).

at least now you mavs fans see that Duncan > Irk

That's why they should have never let Nash get away. They need a quality player that isn't allergic to the paint.

Obviously Dirk isn't willing to play out of the post, and they don't have any other post players... so they need a point guard who is willing to penetrate to open up things for the other players.

BUT, you gotta remember, why are the spurs so succesfull against the suns? because they control tempo. How do they control tempo? part of it is containing nash, and one way to do that is offensively! Now, if you look back at the PG match ups, you always see tony parker having MONSTER games against nash, because the spurs make him a DEFENDER and thats a HUGE weakness for him. Could you imagine what B Diddy would do to nash? he would post him up and they wouldnt be able to run. By the second half nash would be exhausted if not in foul trouble. but thats just my analysis
