Maybe this is why Dak took the locker room from Romo?

they problem that tony has is that he has never won a nfc championship game or went to the super bowl so everyone takes there shots that's just what they do if dak does not win in the playoffs it wont be long before the shots will start for him its easy when you win its a lot harder whenyou don't if the cowboys don't advance past this weekend there will be lots of doubt among the fans and media this is a huge opportunity for this team and its not a given that you will ever be in this situation again if they lose
Nice punctuation and grammar. Your teachers must be so proud.

You don't think Brady, Peyton, Aikman, Rodgers, etc, aren't aloof?

Good Lord.

Aikman would put you to sleep with a Q&A session. I wonder if he learned that from JG or JG learned that from him.

Not the first reporter I've heard say something similar about Romo. /nohate

I'm not buying this one. This seems too similar to the Aaron Rodgers story of how his team mates didn't connect with him. I think if this is true then it would've surfaced years ago when Romo was not getting past the playoff hump. Why would this come out now? And Terrell Owens has had several years to go onto talk shows and bash Romo and to my knowledge he hasn't. I think players from the past would have said something about it and not some journalist. JMO

I think Dak won over the locker room cuz he exudes confidence and people feed off of confidence.

It's fairly common knowledge that Tony's always willing to help a teammate but that he doesn't really hang out in the locker room playing dominoes or spitting spitballs. I'd say that probably did play a role in Dak integrating into the team more quickly than Tony did, but it's also more a by-product of Tony's personality than it is a criticism of him. Or at least it should be.

I like it when fans from other teams troll this forum and give me a reason to bench them.
Please continue trolling.

Not trolling - look at the stat sheet. I think its why Garrett pulled him out and sacrificed the win - not to generate controversy.

Winning goes a long way in a locker room. Why is that so hard to understand?

Media people getting their feelings hurt because people don't treat them like royalty .. that's something you don't see every day ..

Quite honestly, if I had ever been an NFL player, especially one that was really good, I'd make Richard Sherman look like the media's best friend. Heck, I'd give Belichick a run for his money when it comes to the press.

The media is becoming less and less relevant as we get more of our news and information directly from the sources.
I love the idea of the players Tribune. The athletes get to control their own narrative, release their own information, make their own announcements.

Also the fact that he was a backup early in his career and not a starter. Also, the fact that he has been married with children the entire time that most of his teammates have been on the team. He doesn't have time to play dominoes, he needs to go home and be a husband and father.

Yep. Two completely different types of people. Tony hasn't stayed in Dallas 12+ yrs because people didn't like and respect him.

Yep. Fairly different situations. Both good QBs and good guys.

In his next thread, Zordon is going to chastise zone members for being bad fans. Then, in the game day thread, he's going to call the defense "trash" about a thousand times.
Why does that make him a bad fan? He obviously has certain expectations for the defense, and wants them to do well. If he's calling them trash, well maybe theyr'e playing like trash. The entire team was trash against NY.

I always thought they were very similiar in all regards. Rodgers has the stronger arm and personality.
Cowherd once said if you put a shadow over both of them playing, you wouldn't be able to tell them apart and I think he's right

It doesn't make you a bad fan. It makes you a hypocrite when critize the fandom of others.

People always going to find dumb crap to support their dumb agendas instead of just being happy we seem to have our new Franchise QB.

.....Good grief, this crap has gotten beyond old.

Just reminded me of a chart I saw once on the web. Maybe we should break out something like this for the media or other posters...

Ellis' post ranks about a "Wet Patties" score from me. ;)
