He played great. His arm got knicked but I'm pretty sure he returned late.

I agree. It seems that his benching/deactivation got the response the team was looking for. He's come on of late and the team has needed it.

This was my thought but it wasn't just a benching, it was a boot to the inactive list and it appeared to do the trick.

He was getting off the ball and bending the corner very well this game. It set up an inside move off that speed rush and he got a hit on Winston nearly untouched. He's looked much improved of late. I guess that time inactive lit a fire.

Benson Mayowa's improvement as a pass rusher has been obvious, but he's also playing the run so much better than early in the season.

And Charles Tapper, the rookie DE we hoped would serve as a rotational rusher, has missed the entire season on IR.

He's listed with an ankle injury.

I looked for a few minutes this afternoon and didn't find anything more specific.

If it was the dreaded high ankle sprain, I'd expect more news on the injury.
