He deserved to be cut 4 weeks ago when he was on inactive list for consecutive games. He has been a completely different player since given a second chance. I was down on this signing but if he helps us win a ring I will gladly eat my crow.

I'm not saying he's some stud but he's already earned his salary and more. Sacks are worth about $1m each in the football value world (FA). We have him locked up for $3m average next two years. That is absolutely value my man.

I've watched benson for a few years(I started college at Boise state in 03, trust me we hated the Idaho Vandals). He's always been an athletic freak with a non stop motor...glad he's getting coached up by Rod, this kid has a ton of talent, he works hard...he just needs to learn technique. He may never be a full time starter, but he can sure develop into a pass rush specialist.
