Don't get too high on a player after one game, but yes this was easily his best game as a pro. Ill have to go back and do a full rewatch to say for sure but it looked like Zimmer dialed up a lot of slants and movement for the D line to counter the offense moving their OL which has killed the Dallas D the last couple weeks. Mazi is the type of guy who should really benefit from this because he struggles so much when he has to think. Let him have a 1 gap assignment and let him shoot the gap from time to time, and just worry about creating penetration. The more Mazi has to think about the worse he is going to do IMO.
