I am going to admit something here that is hard for me.. and that is that we have seen many times in every sport where a championship team gets into a funk and everybody writes them off and then they pull themselves together enough to make one more run just to piss of their detractors. I am scared that this might happen with the Eagles. They fall to say 5-5 after 10 games and then never lose again on the way to another Super Bowl.. Man would that suck!!!

Based on these first 5 games it'd be hard to put 5 QBs higher than Dak. I do think they are disrespecting Goff a bit though. But he do have an amazing cast around him. It would not bother me to see Goof replace Jones on this list. What Dak has done these last two games without CeeDee and then a half with 3/5 of the o-line out followed by a full game with 4/5 of the o-line out needs to be appreciated. And I think it has made people sit up and take notice.

Through 5 games, Rattler has 1,113 total yards, 6 TD’s, and just 1 INT.

Rattler has more completions (119) than Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Baker Mayfield.

More passing yards (990) than Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, and Caleb Williams.

And he’s working with arguably one of the NFL’s WORST surrounding casts.

The Saints QB is playing like a first round talent.

The list is solid given the circumstances. From the entire segment they said they literally called McCarthy while he was dropping his kids off at school and had him name his top 5 of 2025 off the top of his head so this is not a well thought out list. He also talked up the value of efficiency and completion percentage. I didn't realize it until I looked it up but Daniel Jones is 3rd in the league in yards per attempt and 5th in completion percentage. From the criteria McCarthy put out there DJ fits the list.

I am sure his list is based on which 5 QBs are playing the best TODAY but as usual, any mention of Dak among the best triggers his critics..

They are Champions so your scenario is very plausible.

But the Eagles lost so much talent from coaching to players.

Also Saquoan appears to a RB that peaks every other Season. Hopefully this is a down year.

When the Cowboys lose in the playoffs it’s all thge QB’s fault but when another great QB loses in the playoffs it’s a different story. One you’re not even man enough to admit to yourself much less anyone else.

It's not really that complicated. They aren't the same. Dak has played like crap & directly contributed to the playoff losses even when the rest of the team played well enough to win. Even when his team has been riddled with injuries, Mahomes has always played well. Giving his team a chance no other QB would have.

Now mind you, this is always in the conference championship game or Super Bowl cause Patrick always get's his team there.

Like you said, man up & admit it.
