I didn't notice a celebration on the clip. Was it later when they realized he was needing medical attention?

I actually think Witten is the type of guy who holds a grudge. He just looks like the type.

If he is then he hides it well. I don't recall seeing any action or hearing any interview that would give the slightest hint he is that type of guy.

I dont think he needed to apologize. It was a football play. Stuff happens.

I think t was a classy move on Rolando's part...yea it's part of the game as you said but players don't want to seriously injure other players, now that they're teammates, if there was any animosity he was making an attempt to smooth it over

Not sure I see the celebration. The hit looked more like it just happened to land just right, rather than being this violent collision.

Im not saying it like he is vocal about it. But he just seems like the type of guy who would keep a grudge to himself and remember it the next time they play. Its not a bad thing

I think the wording of the tweet is misleading or just being misconstrued? Seems more likely McClain's intent would be more, "sorry you got hurt." rather than, "sorry I hurt you". IMO

Are folks confusing the Witten and Lee hits? I hardly see an excessive hit and where is the celebration by McClain.

That won't be an easy job. McClain handled blocks by OLineman about as well as any LB that I've seen (not including 3-4 OLBs) while he was in Oakland.

Then why is he on his last chance in football?

It's football *shrugs* classy nonetheless... I really am a fan of McClain, very physical and tough!

I bet Witten laughed it off with him...saying "that's football... just don't hit me like that in practice, hit the other guy when we play"...

Respect, and that is why Witten is a Team Caption.

This dude is gonna be a beast for us if he's got his head on straight.

Number 68 not able to block his guy. At that point Romo spins out of the pocket. Could of just thown it away. All the events lead up to that moment.

I don't see any celebration. McClain just goes back to the huddle and high fives a couple teammates and gets a couple pats on the helmet.

Same thing anybody would do if someone made a big hit for no gain.

I didn't see anything but a nice hit on ball carrier with the tackler walking calmly back to huddle.

The only person that should have apologized for what happened was the lame-duck that called a hall of fame TEs number - who is also slowest non-online player on offense - to go out on a TE screen pass route during a pre-season game. Coaching blunder!!!!!!!! Almost got him killed! Every time they call Witten for TE screens I scream at the TV. It is a useless play for him, not utilizing his strengths at all!
