You late as hell to the party bro.
Not sure if you already knew this or not, but it has been reported that Marinelli has all of his players sign that same contract. So it's not just something unique to Hill situation.
Like that? It was like I said fooey!
Interesting, but It kind of flies in the face of selecting players that naturally love the game.
The time to have an open mind is BEFORE draft day. By the time draft day comes, it is past the time for an open mind. It is the time for a decision. Just because you START the process with an open mind doesn't mean you should END the process with the same open mind. The point of an open mind is to gather information so you can make a well informed decision, by which time your mind SHOULD BE closed on the subject - because you've made a decision.
Been going over the picks....and if you look @ it...every pick does makes sense. They drafted for depth. They filled holes. They problem I have is...the talent level picked. Seemed like we were playing catch up all day on day .
Wanted Isaiah Johnson, CB (Houston)....settled for Michael Jackson, CB (Miami)
Could of had any of the safeties...settled for ...Donovan Wilson, S (Texas A&M)
Reached for Trysten Hill, DT (Central Florida)...
Kind of like the argument in 2011 of who had the best pick, Cowboys with Tyron Smith, or Houston with J.J. Watt. Both guys considered head & shoulders above everyone else as the best in the NFL at their positions 5 years later.
They don't listen because they didn't get the player that they want wawawawa
I think we'll see different schemes on both sides of the ball. I've wanted marinelli gone for years. He'll be more the d-line coach and less the dc. Richard will take care of that. Hope I'm not wrong.
Its obvious the guy is a bust. They have moved on from him already. It couldn't be more obvious.
I'm sure they did. Not as if, if Hill is gone they'd have not turned in a draft card.
Marinelli developed a father / son relationship with him. I guess Juan Thornhill didn't want to call Rod "daddy".
Sounds like he wants Taco to hear his disappointment up to this point.
Regardless of anyone's thoughts on our draft just remember: We could be the raiders.
I liked it. People didn't like the LVE pick last year. So....we'll be fine.
Yep Woods is a natural SS.
If there's one thing the organization has done well over the last few years, it's drafting.
McClay is well-liked. So he makes all the picks the mob likes. Marinelli is not. So when there’s a reach, it’s on him.
The same goes for defensive play calling where, if the team played well on defense, you better believe that was Richard. Lose to the Rams? Marinelli has to go!
