Wow, Kelly is really making a case for FA's not to want to sign in Philly? Or is that just my opinion?

Source: LeSean McCoy 'not going to make it easy' for trade to Bills

By Mike Rodak | ESPN.com

ESPN's Josina Anderson tweeted the following Tuesday night, hours after news broke of the Buffalo Bills' trade with the Philadelphia Eagles:

A source close to LeSean McCoy to me on how the #Eagles RB feels about news of an agreement to trade McCoy to Buffalo: "He’s a Pennsylvania kid. He’s never played football outside of Pennsylvania—high school, college, pro. So of course he's not happy. Sounds like it’s pretty final to me unless LeSean is refusing to go to Buffalo."

On whether the source believes McCoy will make a trade to Buffalo difficult, in light of McCoy’s initial reaction to the news:

"It'll be interesting to see how this process plays itself out because he's an interesting individual. In your mind, when you think of Buffalo you think of cold and losing games. It’s not like it’s the Philadelphia market where you’re always on t.v. and you’re playing for like the division title or that type of thing…It was unexpected. I'll tell you that much.”

The source on how McCoy is feeling at the moment:

"Honestly, he's frustrated ... It's alright. It's the league. I told him that. I guess he just never experienced that, but he was like 'why me."

The source said he thinks McCoy is "not going to make it easy, that's for sure."

The source on whether the trade news was a surprise:

"Honestly we were under the impression the whole time, that eventually at some point, Chip [Kelly] was going to ask LeSean to restructure his contract--not a pay cut, but convert some of his signing bonus."

Anyone know if there is anything in his contract allowing him to refuse trades? I know that is common in baseball, but I am not sure about football. Of course if I was the Bills this would make me seriously nervous right about now.

he could always state that if he is traded and he does not like the time he will hold out/retire. I mean he can provide a list of teams he will go to and make that list known and say if I get traded to Jax I will retire/holdout whatever to make it very unappealing to teams that have something to offer but Shady doesn't want to be there.

If he refuses to go to buffalo, does Philly still have to pay him that 12 mil? Would be hilarious if they still ended up paying him, and this turned into him sitting on the bench for not wanting to play.

I agree, our Oline is the biggest weapon in the division. I have a question tho, there's all this talk of Kelly drafting the Oregon qb. With the eagles draft slot and the talent of the Oregan qb, is this a possibility or are they going to have to trade up/down? What's everyone's best guess. If this is discussed ion another feel free to point me there.

No chance he falls to 20. Their ability to move up that much would be nearly unprecedented.

Skins gave up three ones and a two to move from sixth to second pick...imagine trying to move from 20 to top four ( at least four, probably two or three). No way they can pull that off, but I'd love it if they gave the farm for Mariota.
