We probably sign McDowell as well to a league min contract as long as his medicals are somewhat decent.

And, to be honest, I don't see Eric Berry as a player I'd trust to be on the field most of the time anyway. I'd rather save that money and just draft a safety that will be more reliable. There are plenty of talented safeties that should be in our draft range between rounds 3-5.

I'm being patient, but will other teams be? The Cowboys need Robert Quinn at RE badly and I would be furious if the Saints swoop in and steal him three days after Quinn visited here.

With Tyrone Crawford facing a suspension, Randy Gregory already suspended, and Taco Charlton flirting with the bust label, the Cowboys don't need to get a deal done with Quinn soon. They needed to get a deal done with him days ago.
