McDuff’s Rule of 3’s for the Draft

1. No draft is fully evaluated for 3 years, giving a team at least 2 years of low cost production per pick.

2. Each draft should yield 3 long-term starters.

3. Each draft should yield 3 players that will become eventual compensation selections.

You have a very bad idea of what most teams get out of a draft. 3 starters is an exceptional draft. And so you have 3 long-term starters you presumably aren't letting go so another 3 should get you comp selections? Hitting on 4-5 selections each draft? You simply aren't aware how many players actually have successful drafts. Cannot stress how bad a take this is.

Two starters, two roles players is a good draft IMO
