In reviewing McFadden on the All-22, I believe that he is a better RB than Tevin Coleman who many people have rated as the 3rd best RB in the draft.

IMO, anything that Coleman could do behind the Cowboys OLine, McFadden can it just as well and probably better.

The Raiders OL was terrible, their play calling was terrible and defenses stacked the box against the run because their passing game was often not very good.

The Cowboys Zone scheme is perfect for McFadden's running style.

I don't know enough about either to have a preference, but I like what I see from both.

I agree that McFadden will be our starter RB next season. Of course thats if he makes the final 53 but if he does then he obviously still has the speed and vision. Its why i'm hoping for Gurley so much. use McFadden for majority of the season and slowly let Gurley take over. I'm not worried about our running game next season.

Tough to compare college and nfl tape because of different levels of competition. I actually see a lot of similarities between the two (in college) with the size ( coleman maybe shorter) and big play abilities . I really like what I've seen from Coleman . I watched the entire game of his against Ohio st was very impressed.

I hope this is true, I do agree he is miles ahead in pass protection and reception. They really are different type runners when all is said and done would still like to have a rookie in the lineup this year. Seems like the talent this year is immense and would hate to miss out on some later rd gold.
