McFadden was just on Sportscenter and said that he would love to be a cowboy but they are picking really low in the 1st round

He went on to say that he was a cowboy fan growing up

He was then asked if he would like to be on the show with Jerry Jones(meaning interview on sportscenter) he said he would love to be

Michael Smith was on after the interview and said that McFadden is looking at going #6 or #7 in the draft and that Dallas was not have to give MBIII to get McFadden most likely

I'd give up both firsts and maybe a 3rd next year. That's it.

But we really do need a third CB right now. A solid one could drop to our second round pick, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

The big wow (and HUGE gamble) could be:

sign PacMan
Trade up for Dmac

Then we'd have a Mac-Pac

Had the NFL re-instated Adam Jones by now, I think JJ would have made a deal to have him on the roster, thereby minimizing the need to spend a high draft pick on a corner. Then I think we would have seen Jones attempt to move up in April's draft, looking to secure the services of D. McFadden.

As it is, without an established third corner, that might not be an alternative.

I think Pac-Mac should be the term.

Mac-Pac sounds like a name he would use while making it rain.:jackpot:

Damn, that's the way I had it in the first place.

When I was in college, they always said to go with your first answer, guess I should have stuck to my guns.

I can't believe everyone in here is in love with Pacman. The entire board had nothing but hate and disdain for him earlier this year.

He definitely is a dumb*** but the thing is, this is his LAST chance.

If he has ANY sort of a brain, he won't screw himself over.

Like other people said, sign him to a deal like Tanks and if he acts up, cut em. Nothing wrong with that.

I agree completely.

The only possibility of trading up for McFadden would have to include the acquisition of Dante Hall or Pac Man.
Because if we don't trade for a proven starter... we absolutely without a doubt would need to use 1 or both of those 1st rounders on corner(s).

If we could swing a trade for Hall (for a 2nd or 3rd)...
or for PacMan (5th or 6th)...

I would have no problem at all trading those 2 1st rounders to move up to get DMac.

But CB is our absolute top priority right now.

Ain't about being in love.

We NEED a CB... BAD.
But we WANT DMac.

As it stands... it's either or.

PacMan provides us with the possiblity to have both.

And if all it costs is a 5th round pick and a minimum incentive laden contract with an easy out... why not?!?!?

Could pay off huge.

Could be a mistake - but I don't see it devastating the franchise if he screws up. Just cut him.

But if DMac turns out to be a Hall Of Fame back... and we didn't take this opportunity to draft him...

THAT would be devastating! lol

I'm really starting to think we should give Barber instead of both our #1 picks. Give Barber and his two tenders, and one of the two first round picks. Get our RB, grab a CB at 28.

I believe that some how, some way, Mac will be a Dallas Cowboy this year.

Not sure what it will take ,but it's in the cards.;)

i like your way of thinking;) also with mcfadden on sportscenter and the nfl network saying how "it would be his dream come true to be a cowboy" he's basically saying to jerry"you know you want me to be a cowboy,I want to be a cowboy, so make it happen jerry!"

Wouldn't this scenario be interesting: 1. trade #28, a third, and Barber, then pick up McFadden 2. draft a wide receiver at #22 3. draft a backup RB in the second 4. trade a 5th or whatever it takes to get Pacman Jones and sign him to an incentive-based contract Would "wow" me, and cover all of the Cowboys major needs.
