McNABB SEES “VERY LIMITED” WORK

PFT

Usually, Eagles qb Donovan McNabb enters a season fully healthy and, at some point, suffers some type of acute injury that limits his availability in some way. This time around, there’s a chronic condition with McNabb that is causing quiet consternation even before training camp opens.

McNabb has some type of an issue with his shoulder. Not the Tom Brady “probable” problem, but an apparently real shoulder limitation that is causing the team to limit his work during voluntary offseason sessions.

Per Brian Seltzer of ESPN Radio 950 in Philly, McNabb practiced on a “very limited” basis on Monday, not throwing any passes for the last hour of the workout.

Apparently, McNabb has been on a “pitch count” since May. Last week, receiver Kevin Curtis opined that McNabb’s shoulder is sore.

Per Seltzer, McNabb said that he’s not concerned about the shoulder, and that he’s confident it will improve. Which implies, of course, that there’s something wrong with it.

The owner could be softening McNabb to see if he'll take a paycut.

I probably have too much time on my hands here, but...

Who knows? Maybe Kevin Kolb will be '08's Tom Brady. Any takers? I, for one-wouldn't mind, at all, if the Eagles DO win a Super Bowl WITHOUT McFlabb.(would have brought a smile to my face if Garcia had done that last year)

No no no.

The Eagles fans dont care if Trent Dilfer wins it for them... they just want it - They SHOULD NEVER HAVE IT. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER. (The Patriots took care of that one for us) lmao

I dont like McNabb as a player/team mate... but I think he is probably a good person... so with that said.. .even I dont want them to win it without him just to rub it in.

Which is why I hope Donovan sticks around for at least the next few years.

You know what you're getting in Donovan: a declining player without the mobility that once made him a great player who can't stay healthy for a full season.
