It is time for McNair to retire. He is injured every year and spends more time in rehab than on the field. It is a shame that he will not be there for Young to learn from for a year of two. This probably means that Young will be thrown into the fire right away which I don't think is the best thing for him. Maybe they will give it to Volek for a year or two to get Vince ready and build up the talent level around him.

Uhm, what? Are you insane, or do you not watch football at all?

Steve McNair started 14 games last year. The year before that he started 8. Before that you have to go back to 1999 to find a year he didnt start at least 14 games.

I swear, some people.

I don't know about the rest but, if he is reasonable, I see no reason not to consider him for a backup QB role on this team. If we get the opportunity to see the playoffs and beyond, it would be the worst joke on us to have Bledsoe go down and be forced to bring in a QB with no experience or worse yet, get Jeff Hostetlers answering machine. Experience at the back up QB would not be bad IMO. I have always thought that McNair was a class guy. I would not be unhappy if we signed a Vet guy to back up. Move Romo or Henson and bring an experienced QB in. Why not a guy like McNair if he is healthy and reasonable?

Here, you had better get used to it. Actually only a small handful of QBs in this league, present or past, will ever get props from anyone around here. Oh, and Bledsoe is a spring chicken and is the exception to every rule ever made...after coming here, that is- before he was just as big of a joke to most as the next guy, lol.

McNair's not going to be a backup anywhere. He's one of the better starting QBs in the league, and he's a proven winner and tough as nails. If he goes to Baltimore they instantly become a dangerous team. Kyle Boller scares no one. Except the fans in the stands, who might get hit in the face with one of his passes.

Bro, he's set to make $9 mil next season ... and the Ravens have already given him a BIGGER contract.

So you think he's gonna come to Dallas as a backup ... for less than $9 mil ???

You guys crack me up with your wishful thinking sometimes.
