If the Cowboys don't like or get any of the top three, I prefer they wait and draft Prescott, Hogan or Brissett in the mid rounds.
Connor Cook will be a disaster in the NFL.

Like is qb ranking only difference is i would move Hackenberg and Brissett up one and drop Cook to 6th.

What is it with these ESPN guys and Buckner, the guy is not top 5 in talent.

That was my initial thought as well.

Some other notable thoughts:

No Hogan in his top-10 Qb's?
Michael Thompson ahead of Fuller and Doctson?
Andrew Billings the 8th best defensive lineman?
Antonio Morrison the 9th best linebacker?
Apple AND Fuller ahead of Mackenzie and no Jospeph?!

This guy gets more and more wack every year. His first few years it looked like he really knew his stuff, but in recent years his evaluations have been atrocious. He is particularly bad when evaluating defensive backs.

If that is the case I would take Jones from Ohio St. and use him in the run game like Cam. LOL Seriously, although I am serious about Jones, please draft the top DT available that could possibly give us some push from the inside. Then I would take the best DB available in the top of the 2nd. I prefer the BPA but in "my" opinion if you are drafting in the top 5 then you can address a position of need while at the same time still get one of the BPA.

Would you consider mlb a position of need?

I would be fine with a trade down and Billings or Robinson in the first, but I HIGHLY doubt Dallas is going that route. More likely Jack is a Cowboy than either of those two trade or no trade.
In the end I think it will be Jack or a QB in round one. Who knows after that.

not if I can sign Ro. Mac to a reasonable contract. I would rather keep him and address other needs. jmo

So two injury prone lbs with 1 being a joint from a huge suspension? Risky but if that's how you feel. We'll see
