Lol. Commanders. Man, I wonder how much it would suck to be a Sk*ns fan these days. Oh, wait, season ticket holders who'd dad's played in the stupid band are burning their racially insensitive jerseys because they're so upset with the futility and the perpetual cellar-dwelling. And things aren't getting better anytime soon. So much fun to watch.

I just had this thought that Ol' Danny Snyder is going to feel the pressure to give his "fan base" something to feel good about after this fiasco and will end up giving the farm away again somehow...splashy draft day trade again, goofy FA signings, both? I just feel it coming and it makes me feel so good!

Absolutely...he's much better than the bum known as Brandon Weeden.

Shoot, you'd have to look at NFL team's 3rd string QB to find a QB worse than the Bum Brandon Weeden.

Griffin is a much better athlete than Weeden, but I question whether he's a better QB. I haven't watched him play hardly at all, I'm going on what his own coach and other players/former players have said about his intelligence, work ethic, etc. If the guy is not smart, or is lazy, or even worse, both...then I don't want him even for nothing. These kind of players can bring an entire team to its knees. Again, I say this as an average Joe fan with an opinion.

Extremeskins is currently in Ferguson county status and it is worth reading all 8 pages of it.

More now, and yep, pure awesomeness on that forum lol. I'm cracking up reading those posts haaaa ha ha. :lmao2:

Awwwww....but I thought he was the second coming and his style of play and his read option was going to change the NFL landscape.

LOL!

Only people who have no idea about QB play could possibly be surprised by the way this has gone.

I'm still amazed at how blunt he is talking about his QB.

There's nothing about that franchise that I have ever liked, but I do have a lot of respect for Gruden, now. There are a number of coaches that wouldn't have had the nads to so bluntly speak the truth like he did. I'll bet his players, other than Griffn, have a lot of respect for him, too.

Don't know, that's a tall order to eclipse JaMarcus Russell in that department.

The Raiders didn't give up 3 ones and a two for Russell (although, Russell was under the old CBA and got paid a crapload of $$).

If you said this back when we signed Weeden I'll give you credit, if not be quiet with this hindsight bs.

LOL who pissed in your cheerios? i'm not digging through months of threads just to find a post that may or may not exist just to somehow prove a ridiculous point that you think needs to be made

i can guarantee you this, I wanted McCoy coming out of college but knew that was a pipe dream

i knew that washington basically mortgaged their future to get RG 3 - just didnt remember it was the rams that were on the other end of the deal.

So yeah, that would be rediculous if the rams got all those pics and still got RG 3
He might end up there, they really need someone on that offense.

Not happy about this considering we made Colt McCoy look like a pro bowler.

Throwing for 0 TDs and 1 INT is pro-bowl caliber? I guess people are right when they say the Pro-Bowl doesn't mean what it once did.

McCoy is a scrub. Dallas played poorly and lost to a scrub. That happens. If they play good defense McCoy won't do squat. I'm not worried about McCoy, Cousins or Griffin. Just play good defense and you can beat these guys. Same with Mark Sanchez. Play poorly and you can lose to anyone. There are QBs out there that can beat you even if the defense plays well. These guys aren't that caliber of QB.

I just can't stand when someone says 'well we should have signed McCoy or whoever' NOW if you weren't wanting him before. McCoy is a backup and that is all he will ever be. I also don't think he's better than Weeden. It amazes me how much one game can elevate people's opinions of a player in this case McCoy. It's like when Kirk Cousins started off playing well but then eventually settled down into what he is. McCoy will be the same.

i see what you're saying but I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that I thought McCoy would ever be anything more than a backup.. As a matter of fact I distinctly remember clamoring for Jerry to bring him in as a 3rd stringer before SF snatched him up. And for the record, I do think he is better than Wedden, but that isn't saying much. But McCoy did do more as a starter in Cleveland than Weeden ever did, and he damn sure has done more as a backup QB than Weeden (see: shredding the Dallas defense all night long a few weeks back)

Well I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that I said you said he was anything more than a backup. You are hyping him up like he would come in and be the savior if he were a backup here. He is what he is like Weeden, Cousins and other backups and that is he is limited in what he can do and will do some good things but probably more bad things over time. And LOL at McCoy doing more in Cleveland than Weeden ever did. McCoy was 6-15 in Cleveland and Weeden was 5-15. McCoy 21 TDs 20 INTs, Weeden 23 TDs and 26 TDs. That's a whole lot more than Weeden did for sure.:rolleyes:

If he was available this offseason, I'd take RG3 ASAP! He'd be Romo's successor in 3 years. Unfortunately, a lot of teams will go after him to be their starter...wouldn't be surprised to see him in Houston

Other than sheer dollars, in terms of what the franchise mortgaged to get him, RG3 has to be in the conversation for biggest ever draft bust at this point. His story isn't written yet, but it's getting there.
