Wow, the skins fans really ARE upset with this situation. It took them until Page 5 of that RGIII thread before any of them posted a "cowpie fans" piece of garbage.

Oh here's a solution for Washington:

Just offer three #1's and a #2 to the Tennessee Titans for QB Jake Locker, whom they drafted in 2011 at #8 just before the Cowboys took Tyron Smith :muttley:

Remember when the read option was supposed to be unstoppable?

I do.

:)

YR

Yep.

It was going to change football forever.

It was going to make people believe RG3, and QBs like him, are now the future and better than a guy like Andrew Luck.

Good times.

3 first round picks down the crapper..................LMAO..................man that has got to hurt.

The 2012 trade with the St. Louis Rams that brought Griffin to Washington is going to go down as one of the worst in franchise history.

The Commanders exchanged a 2012 first-round pick (No. 6), 2013 first-round pick (No. 22), 2014 first-round pick (No. 2), and 2012 second-round pick (No. 39) for the No. 2 pick and the right to draft RGIII. The Rams have turned those four high picks into eight players.

In the end, the Commanders traded the opportunity to draft Janoris Jenkins, Greg Robinson, Michael Brockers, Isaiah Pead, Rokevious Watkins, Alec Ogletree, Stedman Bailey, and Zac Stacy for 34 games of Robert Griffin III.

Everyone knew this was a lopsided trade, even back in 2012. Because of the sheer volume of picks involved, Griffin would have had to develop into one of the best quarterbacks in the league to justify the cost of losing four high draft picks.

Looking like one of the bigger busts in NFL history when you think the skins traded 3 1sts and a 2nd for him

I'd like to be the first to officially welcome RGIII as a 2015 Dallas Cowboy

Padawan Griffin will study under Jedi Master Romo

If he was available this offseason, I'd take RG3 ASAP! He'd be Romo's successor in 3 years. Unfortunately, a lot of teams will go after him to be their starter...wouldn't be surprised to see him in Houston

You obviously must not have watched him play this year. he has terrible mechanics, cannot see the entire field and cannot read a defense. he holds the ball too long. has problems throwing intermediate passes (including throwing short to medium passes in the dirt to wide open receivers). The only thing he had going for him prior to the injuries was success in a gimmicky offense that even the Shanahan's knew would be short lived, and thus tried to make him more of a pocket passer. RGIII is a self-indulged sensitive diva that is willing to throw his teammates under the bus to alleviate the blame from himself, and he is mentally frail. He already is showing signs of lost athleticism from the injuries and is only one more ACL injury away from being out of the league. Why on earth would you want him on the Cowboys? He is the anti-Romo.

What makes this even sweeter is the ignorance of the skins fanbase who argued to no end that giving up the draft picks was more than justified for a franchise QB and quiet a few of them even said they got the better end of the deal.. I'll never forget them talking about how RGiii was the class of the division and that Romo had nothing on him....They were actually debating how many SBs (notice the plural) he was going to bring to Washington single handedly. Reading extremeskins now makes it just that much better to see them recognize what I expected all along. RGIII was just another College stud that wasn't suited for the NFL game.

Ahhh that trip down memory lane was hilarious.

Loved KJJ's post
If you were in charge you would be worse than Jerry, you picked Romo over RG3 in the poll. Why would you take a 32 year old QB who may only have a couple of good years left over a 22 year old QB who has an incredible skill set and has already proven he can play at a very high level in the NFL?
