just reread the article about Ekuban and how he stood in the middle of the field staring at Bill to get a good look at the pain of losing on Bills face and it started to burn me. Guess what Eb--the Hall of Fame is not calling once your illustrious career is over!!Check yourself. This is a fine example of a athlete with misplaced self worth. the reason you were released was because you did not perform. Frankly as a cowboy fan, I wrote him off early. Eb was a classic "step late to the QB" guy. If he wasnt getting blown off the ball at the point of attack and he faded off my radar quickly as a prospect. I didnt even notice him on the field on Thursday. Apparently even though he had a good year with 8 sacks last year, Cleveland wasnt that determined to build their DL around him either. Eb--you should be thankful that Bill cut you loose to hook on elsewhere instead of being the 8th DL on this team. And face the facts, you are a journey man NFL player who will make some coin and can say he played in the 'league". Don't be bitter, just go away and SHUT UP--it reflects badly on your character

Best thing I've read in months! Couldn't agree more. After we let him go, the 4-12 Browns felt so privelidged to have him they let him go without hesitation.

I read an article about this before the game. He really likes Jerry but said Parcells mind games got to him. He basically admitted he wasn't tough enough mentally to play for Bill.
I agree with your point that he has an overrated view of himself. I never liked the pick when we made it years ago.

I'm sure Parcells would tell us he has much more important things to worry about than Ekubust.

I have no issue with it.

Parcells showed him the door. Player shoved it back at him some. Ek looks bigger now?
I wish him well.

its not about making ourselves feel better after a loss that in 2-3 years will all but be forgotten. It is about class and character. It is about winning and losing with grace--something that is becoming more and more rare these days. Ok--your team won--do you have to make a point of rubbing it in because of some perceived sleight a couple years ago--move on. Bill doesnt give a crap about you or what you felt--it was a business decision--he felt you couldnt play for him and he was probably right-all these actions did was make you look like less of a person

At the time, he was the top DE left on the board. He was also one of the fastest players at his position. He just never got himself over the proverbial NFL hump to be a decent player, and was terrible in his last few years in Dallas. Good riddance. Enjoy your victory.

Don't be fooled, it's just the goofy looking Donkey uniform that makes him look bigger.

Where can this article be found?

Did'nt Ek say he could not take the mind games and mental stress Parcells put on him? I take that to mean Ek probably went home and cried his self to sleep during the short time Parcells was his coach. :)

Yeah, it's Big Bill's fault he's flopped. If it wasn't for the coach he'd be all world.

Sounds like what every guy in the CFL, Arena League, etc. say
