Why wouldn't it be Ireland's move? Did Ireland never get the chance to meet with David Lee when they worked in the same office building for years? It's hilarious how anyone could think keeping George Edwards and Steve Hoffman on the staff were Parcells moves.

You sound incredibly bitter about Ireland leaving, which is strange because it was unquestionably a good move for him for any objective observer ... as enticing as "He should have stuck around here for 10 years and waited to see what Stephen would do" might be for a young, up and coming 38 year old GM hopeful. This is one of the drawbacks of having a permament, lifelong General Manager who has absolutely no ability to ever, ever get fired ... any up and coming player personnel guy is going to leave to escape the glass ceiling. It should be a small price to pay if you really believe Jerry is such a great football general manager.

you know what? this sparano garret thing. Screw the both of them. This is one if not THE premier job in their field and all they have to do is wait for a massive $$ pay day . If they want to go ruin their names for a few years (sparano to a lesser extent i think parcells will turn that thing around ) let them go. there is a high chance of that happening.
