Micah Parsons Non-Contact Injury

We have a Lotta hate on this forum. I don't visit it as much as I used to. Its pretty much happening all over America. The Zone is a representative slice of Americana as it currently exists.
Some of it is just paid bots essentially. For agendas. There's all kinds of irregular warfare tactics that people use online these days.

He probably gets a Ring
Not so sure about that. If Micah stayed healthy their defense could do it but the offense and Love in particular may not. Love has been streaky and hasn't shown he can be glutch. I don't know if I trust him when the pressure gets turned up.

Not happy to hear this. But Micah's body breaks down in the last quarter of every season like clockwork.
This is one of those Zone Facts.

The only injury he’s had that caused him to miss a game occurred in September.

Parsons is not a cowboy He hasn't been for a long time and those things that he did during training camp and preseason forced to trade the antics the circus the body language the attitude the social media stuff and I realized Jerry poured fuel on that fire he was part of the circus but he lost me the man wanted more money he wanted less years he wanted it all he didn't want to be a cowboy hero he would be here it was more than just the money he crossed the line I didn't even know Jerry had so if you want to take shots at Parsons go ahead he's not a cowboy matter of fact he's a bitter rival I don't get what you guys think that he's off limits he's actually a hated rival now and that go along with his **** **** attitude and the things he was doing not only during the holdout that was the icing on the cake.

You seen him do that during games you might want to try to deny it I watched him on the sidelines where he'd sit away from his teammates or even when he was standing on the sideline his body language his face he didn't seem into the game he didn't seem to want to be there kind of like right now sometimes you see George Pickens doing we've seen Amari Cooper do it and then Trayvon Diggs had to get in line with that that is not OK with me so once you leave our team and especially if you go to our bitter rival you don't want to be a cowboy now you face with any other player who's on the other team is going to get and if that is a pot shot I will take pot shots at him all day he is the enemy...

I like Trayvon Diggs and it's too bad things are going the way they are but some of it he brought upon himself and I'm not taking shots at him I was hoping he came back but once he leaves here he'll leave here with some of that stigma didn't try hard enough got his money didn't feel like working out with his teammates didn't want to practice the way they asked him to rehab the way they asked him to sometimes you get what you ask for.

So I don't like Parsons anymore he's the enemy I already covered up the name on the back of his jersey that I have it looks kind of rough I even got a little bit of funny feedback because at first all I did is iron over it with a white patch and then I used a big black marker and I highlighted the A and the S and the S in his name so that's all that showed through..

lol
now I ironed over it again and I got some letters and I put W H I T E... No the number eleven Danny White it doesn't look great but I'm not running around with a jersey that was very expensive with Parsons name on it i'm sorry he didn't deserve my respect he's a Green Bay Packer and now that he's injured I'm not going to be happy and jump up and down and and make fun of him but I can tell you this it doesn't make me unhappy he's a rival this may help the Cowboys down the road The man does not get to play in the play in the playoffs or Super Bowl so in some way I feel vindicated....
..
Maybe at your age you shouldn't be running around with a jersey with anybody's name on it LOL

Not to fear cowboy Nation appreciates the dedicated effort involved in resurrecting that Jersey

Micah used to love attending basketball and baseball games, do they have that in GB while he rehabilitate’s?

I think I saw a piece on this at the sports orthopedic seminar.

Professional athletes should refrain from “juking” and just run straight ahead.
Honest questions
What's the difference between juking and running?

Nevermind.......So a poster thinks THIS caused his ACL injury??????
In slang, "juking" (from "juke") means making a quick, deceptive move to trick or dodge someone, like a fake in sports, but it also refers to fast dancing, or, in some contexts, sexual activity or getting someone into trouble, stemming from the older "juke joint" (dance hall). It's about misdirection, whether on a field, dance floor, or in a social interaction, using agility and sudden changes in direction to fool an opponent or admirer.

  • Sports/General Deception:
Feinting, dodging, or changing direction unexpectedly to outmaneuver someone (e.g., a football player "juking" a tackler).

Yes. Several times.

I’m wondering why every NFL RB doesn’t blow out both knees every year

It's not just the juking, right? It's the cleats that allow you to change direction more abruptly. Putting more strain on the knee. The cleats I wore for football just had those little plastic nubs at the bottom. They only gave you slightly better traction.

Players are now training to the true edge of their limits. some have greater athletic ability than others.
None the less, these type of injuries are truly freak occurrences IMO. The planting, explosion off the snap/rushing the passer etc may add strain but there's no one set metric on where you blow your ACL or don't based off how hard you explode off the snap.

Mahomes blew his ACL while getting tackled-normally. We've seen other players go down on truly no contact plays. It's unfortunate.

I'm glad this is probably the last thread that'll be made about that soft frontrunner until the off-season.

From a timeline perspective both Parsons and Mahomes could pretty much be back for the start of next season or only end up missing a few games.

Chiefs had no shot this year any way but the Packers were just starting to develop into a good team potentially challenging the Rams in the NFC to reach the Superbowl.
