That’s great news. No holdout for camp. I wonder what the money looks like. 4 years 12-14

Wouldn't sign past 4 years. The length of you know who's deal.

Either we get a real QB or he's out.

I read ya, Micah. I read ya.
And you're just gonna sit there and count the people that feel the need to tell you that all first rounders sign four year deals, and grin....

I read ya, RS. I read ya.

Over/under at 2.5.

I think that's position-specific too though. Like WR franchise tag is 20+, whereas I don't know if any non-edge-rush-specialist LBers are that high. So Devonta at pick 12 may have still been pricier

Why would a TE, Kyle Pitts, be expected to receiver $32mill while QB, Mac Jones, is getting $15mill?
Teammates Surtain gets 20.9mill, Leatherwood $14.3mill, and Harris on 13.03mill.....

The answer:
The values of those contracts are based on the NFL’s salary cap of $182.5 million for the 2021 season and this year’s rookie compensation pool in a formula spelled out in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the league and its players association. That makes it possible to estimate the money allotted to each draft slot (and the sports financial web site spotrac.com has done so).

Or maybe he doesn't want to stay unless the Cowboys extend "you know who" beyond 4 years.

Or maybe he likes to move to new places every 4 years. Collge 4 years, Dallas 4 years … maybe he's hoping there will be a team in Hawaii after 4 years.

Or maybe 4 years with a 5th year option is kind of standard for 1st round picks. lol

The Jones boys saved themselves some money by drafting Parsons with the 12th overall pick rather than the 10th overall pick. ;) Now let's hope they can once again avoid paying that pesky 5th-year option.

I thought it was specific to the pick, but I could be wrong or that could be outdated

I thought it was both

You're right, im definitely wrong on that one. Which means Jordan love it about to take over for the GB packers at 3m$ a year. QB probably should be scaled up a bit in relation
