I didn't watch the video. Don't have time. But ... did Irvin admit to sleeping with the girl or does he maintain he never slept with her?

Thanks. Then this case really should be a quick resolve.
She had a test done. If Irvin's DNA isn't found near her private areas or mouth, he's scot free.
If his DNA is found on her, he's toast.

Never say never when high priced defense attorneys are involved.

She even says that she has no recollection of what happened that night other than not feeling well and sleeping on the bed.

I havent heard her mention what she was wearing when she woke up.

Best thing for Mike/worst thing for her would be evidence that she purchased the date rape drug online or wherever.

Of course, accomplishing that is easier said than done. That's probably a pipe dream.

If he slept with her, he shouldn't be talking to the media period. Worst part about that is it would mean there's a good chance he's been lying to his defense team.

you know that something I didn't think of with her buying/taking the date rape drug. Are we all heading to wearing video when were out like police? maybe one day.

well the drug test will be major factor as well as she says she was drugged and woke up with him on top of her. So the DNA combined with Drug test will show who is telling truth. I think their both lying.

btw: if someone out there is smart and knows how to do podcast this would be fantastic one to launch. I would put it up there with serial season 1.

Well nothing about this is simple.
why would she go back to a hotel room with him if not to have sex?
why would he go back to a hotel room with her if not to have sex?
If he and or she took a shower, what does that indicate?
If he did and she didnt, then maybe she was wanting to keep evidence intact?

Why would she say she was drugged, if she wasnt? she would know tests could say if she was or not.
Could she have drugged herself? did she plan this?

Known irving for 10 years, and now she wants to destroy him?
He has known her for 10 years, and now decides to drug and rape her?
If they had sex, and she consented, but then later says she was raped, how could you prove she consented??

The only sure thing is Irving was stupid to go to a hotel with her or any other woman.

I saw most of the interview on tv, and it seemed like his main defense is she left the room with him in normal fashion.
She was not looking like she had been raped.
So even though he says no sex happened, he seemed a little guilty.

most likely he will lose his job due to this no matter what tests show, and I would think she would know this.
it is all odd, but people are crazy.

Yep. Complicated and a fixed fight. Irvin is in a tough spot if they had consensual sex. The circumstances simply don't add up to rape.

Not really. She could take the drug herself and then have consensual sex, by plan, then claim rape for finiancial gain. Strange that Irvin would need to drug and rape anyone much less a lady he has known for 10 yrs.

Yes but as jim morrison said "people are strange".
she has known him for long time and then do a false report in hope of getting money? She had to know this would make him less able to pay?

He should know better than to go to a hotel with her or any woman since he is married and a public figure.

But the drug test may simply mean she was doing drugs that night. I still say without his discharge there will be no charge.

that would be difficult for her to pull off. She would need to take the date rape drug (and know how long it takes to kick in). Then be back at hotel in time to pass out and pray Mike decides to rape her. Much easier path for her would be just to get Mike to have consensual sex with her and then claim rape. His history & being married would work against him in court and she would probably receive settlement like others did.

Whats going to be very difficult in this case is determining if she was passed-out/unconscious when back in hotel. I don't know of any test that could determine that. Mike claims she following him to elevator and lobby. But I don't know enough about this drug to know if person can wake up from it spontaneously and function and how long does it last. I just read there are like 20 different drugs that can be used in these scenarios. Were seeing why these cases are so difficult to prosecute.

The other thing I would like to see are text messages from her to him for next few weeks. Was she behaving like rape victim (continually bringing up issue if they had sex). Was she trying to gain his trust in hope he would have moment of regret and admit it. Or were tone of those text messages not consistent with person who was just raped.

Jeez, I'm really hoping, for Mike's sake, that he somehow gets exonerated of all blame. He's long been one of my favorite Cowboys. I recall going to St. Edwards when he was there during the preseason workouts many years ago. He was always the hardest worker on the field and always wore a big smile. He's surely never been known as a saint but that kind of publicity could easily be devastating to his career. To be honest, that woman's case seems kinda shaky, in any event.

I think the damage is already done, to espn or whoever he works for, they cant keep him around after this.
regardless of what really happened, he was doing something he shouldnt, since he is married.
It is going to cost him money if he loses his job, and legal fees, so that was a expensive little adventure he had.

Absolutely. Her claims simply do not add up.
