Is it BS he was committing adultry? Where there's smoke usually some fire.

With his history , if he's willing to cheat he's probably willing to abuse or at least take advantage of a young women if she's drunk.

Sounds like Michael up to his ole tricks to me.
Whoa man. There's a big difference between someone cheating on his wife and beating or raping a woman. One is a moral and ethics line, the other two aww criminal physical abuses. Not at all fair to compare them to each other.

I'm gonna hope more comes to light, and wait for that before declaring him a criminal (in the sense of the law).

Folks looking to downplay this.....

Go back and read the whole scenario with the police officer, Johnny Hernandez, back in the day. Sounded like something out of a mob movie

Irvin is capable of some scary stuff.

Right now the fact is we just plain don't know one way or the other whether or not he did anything wrong. If he did it, he deserves to be punished just like anyone else, but the truth is we don't know one way or the other.

Ok this makes no sense. You barley know this guy. You meet him at the bar, then go to his room? But i bet she knew he was the playmaker. But why would Irvin try to drug someone? Everyone knows what is about to go down.

Even if nothing happened, why was she in his room, in the first place? Can't put yourself in that situation, isn't what he told the 21 year old Zeke?

Irvin was going to show her his new collection of boxers.

If your investigating sexual abuse ; adultry , any history or priors are definitely credible evidence.

That was one thing I noticed. Irvin would have exactly zero problems getting laid with no need to drug anyone. That doesn't guarantee that he didn't do something stupid like that, but it seems unlikely.

Yeah I hope not. Darren Sharper got some time for doing that mess. I don't see why some of these guys just don't put some of these chicks on payroll if they want it that bad or use other servies. But like most athletes I bet he brag about who he was, purchase her some expensive Drinks, and talk about his bank. I bet this will end with a settlement.

I hear ya with the desensitized argument but I still don't care about other people's private affairs. Especially people who I don't know or isn't part of my immediate family whose actions have no impact on me.

Also, speaking for myself, because I don't care about Irvin and his wife doesn't mean I endorse adultey. It's just I don't care because it doesn't involve me or impact me in any way.

I understand your position. I'm just pointing out the societal impact it has. People may want to deny it, but when we normalize bad behavior, it encourages others to act badly, particularly those who don't have stronger moral, spiritual, ethical restraints in place to curb their natural urges.

When people aren't held accountable for their actions, it encourages them and others think they can do bad things sans consequences.

But we do know of a laundry list of other occurrences that fall right in line with this. Reputation means something.

Even if he is innocent of the charges - what are you doing in a hotel room with a woman who isn't your wife at 4:30a? Regardless of what happened, at the very least, it's not a good look for someone who has hurt and embarrassed his wife on multiple occasions in the past.
There are bars open at 4:30? dont bars close at 2?

so you are excused of all behavior if you can score a TD? talk about shallow.

seems to me CowboyFan sold his soul in the 1990s for championships and would again now if say Zeke scored 4 TDs in the SB the night after a cocaine party with 12 hookers

You can obtain after hours permits. Here in Texas you can stay open later than 2:00 AM but they stop serving alcohol at 2.

This was in NY I think so Im not sure of their laws but wouldn't surprise me if they have after hour permits as well that might even include serving alcohol. Las Vegas and Atlantic City serve 24 hrs. Seems I recall New Orleans serving past 2 so all states are different .

I don't speak for others. It is a game nothing more, nothing less. No doubt the 90's Cowboys indulged in drugs and women during the 90's they were treated like Gods then it all came crashing down in the end and cost Mark Tuine his life. I hope Zeke has a great career and wins a SB but I also hope off the field issue do not cause his career to come crashing down as it has with other players.

Why would Irvin drug anyone? Plenty of women would sleep with him without even drinking.

I'd bet 100$ she took something herself looking for a payday. It happens.
