Michael Irvin saw the same thing I saw in regards to Tony Romo

That the Vikings defense has him so rattled that he stopped looking down the field to see who was open and focused more on what defenders were around him. That is something you can't do as a franchise QB because it shows the defense that they are in your head and increases their confidence. It's a shame that Romo could not just stand in the pocket once and show he was not intimidated and find the open man.

Romo has grown this season but still has a lot of growing to do if he ever wants to win a SB

Tom Brady did the same thing.

When you get to a quarterback, I don't care whether he's franchise or not, he's going to be trigger happy and lose his down-field focus.

No QB will last long or perform well under the pressure that Tony received yesterday. Not one.

Aikman would have had 4 concussions in the first half alone.

Did Irvin tell Aikman this in the huddle when he had the same exact problems in the 1998 Playoff loss to the Cardinals? I believe the Cowboys offense scored 7 points, Troy threw 3 picks, sacked 4 times and was hit just about every time he stepped back to throw.

Why didn't Aikman just look downfield and make good decisions and take the hit with all that pressure around him? I thought that's what the great ones were supposed to do?

Whatever.

Tony Romo was not the reason we lost.

We know the guy got sacked 6 times but did you guys see how many times he was hit after he threw the ball?

Even before Flozell Adams got hurt, Ray Edwards was all over Tony Romo.

Tony's Offensive Line let him down and Pam Oliver said that on one occassion that Tony Romo let them know about it too.

Romo had no choice once he had fumbled a few times early.

He wasn't just pressured, he was attacked by multiple free defenders.

Look at Rivers yesterday... no QB looks good when the OL is getting beat like a drum.

I wasn't the only one who saw that he was intimidated by defensive pressure if Irvin said the same thing.

That's the one thing I like about Big Ben is that he is willing to take a HIT from a defender so he can find the open man.

Romo has taken his shots. Ben holds the ball entirely too long and still taking the hits, yet losing yardage for his team.

And Ben is sitting home now watching the playoffs as well, so who cares.

Well guess what Rothburger throws it up to be picked.

EVERY QB THAT EVER PLAYED WOULD HAVE LOOKED THE SAME YESTERDAY WITH THAT KIND OF PRESSURE.

Romo had no choice, he got no help at all from his o-line. It's not like he just had to avoid 1 pass rusher. Most of the time, it seems like there were multiple guys bearing down on him.

To me, it was the OL. They sucked yesterday. Not taking anything away from the Vikings Defense. I don't think it was Romo being rattled as much as it was the pitiful OL performance.

No most would have looked worse.....

Tony did what he could for the most part. When you're getting a jail break with only four guys, that's trouble.

We never got them out of their cover 2 shell. That almost always had 7 guys coverage.

7 GUYS IN COVERAGE AND 2 SECS TO PASS IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER.

The broadcast did a horrible job of showing the coverage. They focusd entirely on the pass rush rarely if ever showing a replay of these "receivers running wide open" that were talked about at halftime.

There were a few times when Romo did have a little time but held the ball. Not knowing what the coverage was like I can only speculate on why he didn't let it go.

If that game was going to be won then Romo was going to have to win it himself. You can't put him in that position. That might get you a win in October against a team that won't sniff the playoffs but not in mid January.

I'm sure Romo would like to have a few plays back but if Favre was on that side of the ball he would have been knocked out of the game and it would have been over by halftime.

Stand tall in the pocket?

The pass rush was so overwhelming yesterday that I thought I was watching an episode of Prison Break.

Tony Romo had no chance yesterday.

I am surprised he only threw 1 interception and didn't fumble more.
