Michael Irvin Says Cowboys and Eagles Both Make Playoffs

Comes down to that last game for the division, but both go to the playoffs.

Say Seattle beats the 49ers, and the cardinals lose as well.
If the eagles and 49ers finish 10-6 and the 49ers lose to the cards as well
I believe they'd have the tie breaker.



So
Say going into our last game, we're 10-5.
And the Eagles are 9-6...no matter what happens we'd have already clinched the division.
So we'd probably rest our starters...obviously with the play-offs on the line the eagles
play theirs...and they win..so that could happen.

I love Michael but he's wrong. That would mean that the Cowboys and Eagles would both have to finish 10-6 and hope the sixth seed wasn't 10-6 or better (Not sure on tiebreakers but imo sixth seed is going 11-5)

You know I thought about this about 2 weeks ago.....its far too early to suggest such but as prediction? Its certainly possible. And after hearing all year how we're the NFC Least...he would've thought that two teams would make it out of this division lol? But yeah if you look at what other wild card teams have left you can certainly see some losses occurring. But I can see some the Cowboys and Eagirls way too.

Panthers have the Aint's twice and the Falcons at home....Its not impossible. I surely wouldn't put money on it though lol. I personally am not as sold on the Panthers as others. They literally have no offense....it looks like Cam just freestyling and he's been great but at some point that's going to come to hurt them.

What's the likelihood of both teams only losing a single game for the remainder of the season? Heck, I'm happy with the direction of the team, but there's no way we only lose 1 more game from here on in ... AND beat Philly.

I would take the Panthers out of the equation given their record vs their schedule, but the four loss 49ers could reasonably drop two of their final four.

Atlanta is their only "gimmie" that they have left. They play Seattle this weekend, at Tampa and at Arizona to end the season. On the surface one would think the Bucs were a cake walk, but they have won three of their last four with one loss to Carolina and wins against two other teams trying to get into the playoffs (Detroit and Miami).

"Probable" is debatable, but it is certainly possible.
