Guys, put your bibles down.

Judge no man, its not your job. His wife knows him more than us, she knows what she's dealing with.....its his business, not ours.

Glad some of you don't know my personal life. Irvin can't do it, but Jerry can.....really.

in return for a nice house, fancy clothes etc, she turns a blind eye to Mikey being Mikey

Please, 95% of men wish they could do what Mike does and the other 5% are liars.
and what is that exactly? not exactly sure what you are saying by your reply?

Are you saying that men want his money, sure money is good, need it to survive.
are you saying everyone likes that celebrity status, well maybe but not all.
and finally, is it the ability to have any of the girls you want while being married? well for me it is easy no no matter how many times you would say to the contrary, but yeah many guys (and no I would not say even close to 95%+ you say) are slobs and have no sense of decency nor humanity.
If you are saying Michael Irvin is one of these, then yeah I am not afraid to say he fits my description, period.

Ever hear the term "you are who you hang with"? What is a grown man hanging out partying with young kids and yes 20 something is a young kid to him.?

Take the wife with you if you want to have a good time

What does any of that have to do with him being allowed to cry about it if he is indeed innocent? It doesn't matter who he hangs out with if he didn't do the things he is accused of doing. I don't know if he is guilty or innocent. Maybe he is guilty. If we assume he is innocent then he definitely has the right to cry about it. You would cry about it if you were falsely accused of something you didn't do. What if instead he was hanging out with his wife instead of 20 somethings and his own wife falsely accused him of a crime? Would he have a right to cry about it then? I agree he puts himself in bad situations, but if he is innocent then he should whine and cry about it. If he is guilty, he is guilty.

I understand what you are saying and that is what is it our business as to what he is doing with his life, but if it is apparent that that is his lifestyle and expects me to remain a fan and not a critic, be it a silent one or whatever, sorry. That is not the type of judging we are told not to do.

Aside from that, who is Michael Irvin as it pertains to my life? What happens, or doesn't, is his own doing. I do wish him the best but obviously would hope he would learn from his past rather than dwell in it.

well on that, I have no argument. I agree with you there. My post had more to do with where he puts himself.

Irvin is the one who throws it out there. He's the guy in front of the mics talking about it.

It's public because 1. He's a public figure and 2. He keeps talking about it.

If he doesn't want people to talk about his personal life he should 1. Not put himself in a position to get into trouble and 2. if he gets in trouble, shut up about it.

Irvin has always liked attention, the man wore a fur coat. Of course he will keep talking, that's what he does. Now he could keep things more on the down low, but thats not him either.

I agree that he needs to just shut up. Can a guy like him do that......nope.
