Former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin spoke to G Bag Nation on 105.3 KRLD The Fan on Monday. Some highlights:

-- Irvin said the Cowboys' offensive line was not the problem in Sunday's loss at New Orleans. "I'm putting it on this running back by committee stuff we're doing. That's just what it is."

-- Irvin on if Cowboys can beat the Patriots: "It would be a tough win if everybody was healthy. I wouldn't even call it a possibility."

-- Irvin: Cowboys' beating Pats "would be one of them real Hail Marys. The only way has to be with Jesus at the goal line."

New England is a 7-point favorite to beat Dallas at AT&T Stadium on Sunday.

The only question I have is do the Cowboys come out with a really spirited effort, hang tough for a while and eventually lose or do they just get molested from start to finish?

But one way or the other they will lose. Death, taxes and Brandon Weeden.

The 3 deadliest things !!!

It's sad..

What's worse is there is a part of our fan base that can't comprehend what actual coaching looks like and let Garrett off the hook because Romo isn't there to save him.

The only chance we have is if the defense plays out of its mind. Creating turnovers, intercepting Brady, etc..

Garrett doesn't give us a chance?
Our offense is good for half a chance... Problem is.... It's the first half.

I don't think that Dallas would have a chance even if Brady went down on the first play of the game. Their backup would outplay our backup.

A pox on your oxen! besides and therefore such as, yes, I do not think Cassell is ready.

Shouldn't be too hard to find someone named Jesus in Texas.
Just need him to run on the field and we'll win

Wait... Is Jesus on the goal line helping us score?

Or

On other goal line preventing pats from scoring?

Its falling apart....the entire idea of letting your league leading running back go and replacing that with, RBBC.

Guess what. It isnt working.
And the Defense isnt ready to pick up the slack.

It was all predicated on a better defense and an OLine that "Anybody" could run behind. Joe Randle, DMC, Those guys are going to tear it up!

Meanwhile Romo is another year older......................

So far, FAIL. A really bad, bad decision.

Romo did get hurt. Maybe we were asking him to do to much? Maybe it wouldve happend anyway? But the more times you drop back and pass, the more chance for injury. I dont think anybody would argue with that. And, even with Romo, we werent looking like the team from last year..........The RBBC just wasnt ......working;

I still think there is a chance to turn it around, despite getting beat by 50 points this weekend.....I still think we have a shot. But we got to find a way to be NY and Philly.....without Romo. Not impossible.

So, its not over yet...... they can put humpty dumpty back again and go deep....

But it wont be this weekend...
