I agree. Funny he didn't mention the controversial PI call against Rice (on Rice's TD where he obviously threw the defender to the ground, yet PI was called on the defender).

I dislike Michaels as much if not more than anyone around here but I thought that last night, for a change, the guy was pallatable.

I doubt it will last, but he didn't annoy me last night nearly as much as he normally does.

I believe the rule change was if the coaches throw the red flag, while it is under 2 minutes...the team that throws the red flag will get a 15 yard penalty but I could be wrong.

You are correct. Coaches no longer have the buzzer only the red flag and can't throw it under 2 min doing so results in 15 yards. One other rule change teams can no longer use back to back timeouts to freeze a kicker doing so results in a 15 yarder.
