Micheal Huff to Dallas?

I just finished watching NFL Total Access on NFL Network and Adam Schefter reported that Micheal Huff is going to Dallas to have a work out. Schefter said that Huff is interested in playing for Dallas since he's from the area. Obviously Dallas would have to trade up to get him, but Schefter said that it seems like the Cowboys are interested enough to do so. What do you guys think?

I doubt Dallas would have to trade up for him, and I doubt he's the only one receiving this much attention from Dallas

we wont trade up, only way we get him is if he falls and thats not happening. so no.

A player AND 3 picks?

He is good and would be worth making a 5 spot leap up the board to get him. But giving up that much is not going to happen.

So no, he's not worth that much, IMO.

If you look at the draft pick value chart, our 1+2= 1310 pts, which would get us to either 9 or 10...its conceivable Huff could be there at that pick...I'm not sure Huff is worth our first two picks...he is a good player, but certainly not a surefire probowler so I probably wouldnt make that deal, but who knows how highly our scouts regard him...I think Huff is a better DB prospect than Quinten Jammer was, but he isnt as good a prospect as Terrance Newman was

all 3 of our 1st day picks total 1500 pts, which would net us a trade up only to 7...there is nobody in this draft other than Reggie Bush who's worth our 1st 3 picks IMO, and there is no chance of him being there at that point

our 1+3= almost 1100 pts, and that would get us to 14

We would have to leap more than 5 spots to get him. I would give up 3 picks if they were our 1st this year, and maybe a 5 or 6 this year, and maybe a 6 or 7 next year.

I hope he plays smarter than he sounds. I heard him this morning on with Collin Cowherd on ESPNradio and Collin asked him who was the best all time CB or coverman (something like that) and he said........charles woodson Needless to say the callers slaughtered him on that in the next segement.

I watched it on NFL Network and he made it seem like Dallas will move up to get him. Maybe the Cowboys have somebody on the team who is trade bait. Huff is a special player able to play corner and safety. I would love him in our secondary. But like always you think you know what the Cowboys will do in the draft, and they do something else. So let the rumors go and get ready for the show.

Can't complain about getting a player like that, but at the costs that will be related, no way.

Lawson-Allen/Watkins/Bullocks in the first two is better than just Huff. You can't have a star at every spot and filling two needs rather than one star, worth it in my mind.

I would love Huff in this Draft. I wonder if we offered Ellis and our 1 to move up 5 to 8 spots, would that be enough? But nothing other than that. No more draft picks or anything like that.

well you can laugh if you want I suppose, we couldnt get Bush with just our 3 first day picks anyway...not even close

that said, Bush is not overrated...he is one of those once a decade talents that can truly alter a franchise...he isnt one dimensional and he isnt a one yr wonder...he's probably worth at least a TD a game more to whomever's offense he ends up on...players like that dont grow on trees
