Lots of rumors going around.
The basic story right now was that he was fired for cause. Rumor is that he had sex with a 32 year old staffer. He is currently married with a few kids. Then the story gets worse as the staffer got pregnant but Moore arranged/paid to get rid of the baby....one story claims with plan b pill but who knows.

Now, the scandal, the firing and now he has been detained by Police and some are reporting he has been arrested for things related to the above but not for the cheating or baby issue.

7:25 PM PT -- According to court records, Sherrone Moore is currently in custody at the Washtenaw County Jail in Michigan.

Pittsfield PD tells TMZ Sports they responded to a home to investigate an alleged assault at around 4 PM. While they did not provide details about what occurred, they did state "the incident does not appear random in nature."

I mean, yea dude cheated on his wife egregiously, and she found out and snitched to the administration.
He lost his mind as that obviously cost him his job and livelihood, and she'll be taking half of what he does have in the divorce.

Fellow men we gotta be better than to crap where we eat.

He got that lady promoted a couple times and doubled her salary to be his executive asst.

Blatant workplace violations that Michigan couldn't ignore.

BK makes a ton of sense for Michigan.
Can pay him 1M a year as LSU is footing that bill. He can sink rest of that 6M Moore was making into staff and NIL.

Michigan will want a more coveted name, but this is the best bargain on the market.

DeBoer also makes a lot of sense. He is a midwestern guy and chasing ghosts is zero fun. How hard will Bama fight to keep him given he has 6 losses in 2 seasons?

:hammer:

Blatant falling apart too. LOL. Dude going out in a blaze of glory. Although surprised we don't see more of this in the high stakes, high pressure coaching world. Maybe there is, but other schools covering it up better.

Kelly is contractually obligated to act in good faith regarding pursuit of future employment and salary. If he takes a deal ridiculously out of whack compared to what the position would normally pay, LSU would sue him. And they’d win.

Sherrone Moore’s Wife and Alleged Mistress Were Following Each Other on Instagram Amid Rumored Affair . . .

Some show on youtube that contains a former Michigan QB I do not ever remember hearing his name before.

Either way he said that the staffer was getting promoted a few times and one of her current duties as his assistant was to help out showing his wife around the stadium or during game days....talk about awkward. I thought that maybe that was just some crazy talk but now that it makes sense that they would follow each other.

Lifelong Michigan fan and alumni here. Disgusted by Sherrone.
Candidly, I Didn't like Moore and wanted him gone even before this scandal broke. He's a loser who was born on 3rd base and thought he hit a triple. Hope he does time for this.

Don't like Warde either. He's made exactly one good hire during his tenure. Dusty May. Other than that Warde has been a disaster

Hiring Juwan to replace Beilein was a debacle. Hiring Moore to replace Harbaugh was a debacle

We had 2 coaches who built championship caliber programs (Beilein, Harbaugh) and Manuel refused to pay either of them enough to stay. Then replaced them with complete morons who were in way over their head. Then he stood by while these lightweights he hired both did rogue things. All While losing games at an alarming rate.

I don't see how Manuel makes it through this

They need to back up the brinks truck for a major name ASAP or Michigan will go into the tank for probably a decade.

I do not like them either.
That program was rotten to the core and I think Warde Manual AD is the only one left....for now.
Program wasnt rotten to the core.

Sign stealing? Cmon man. Everyone does it. Why do you think these staffers are standing on the sidelines with big poster boards covered with everything from pictures of cartoon characters to fast food logos, etc?

They are trying to be creative about signaling plays and alignments to their guys and they know opponents are watching

That deal was way the hell overblown. The only thing Michigan was guilty of was perfecting the practice

Im not defending Moore or Michigan on this latest deal . There needs to be accountability and consequences

But the sign stealing scandal was a joke.

Michigan was far and away the best team in 2023. Anyone who thinks they "cheated" their way to a championship is sour grapes. All due respect.

Not true.

West Virginia University doesn’t do it.

They can’t read.

You and I agree on most things but right now I smell a buckeye fan who wants to pretend like they do everything exactly according to the rules....

Please, tell me when is the Catholic Church going to canonize Urban Meyer for being such a high man of integrity and running his program according to the highest ethical standards:laugh:

And by the way, I actually respect the heck out of urban as a coach. But I never labored under the delusion that he was some boy scout who is always concerned about doing things the right way. His job was to win and he was pretty damn good at it.
