The case for Andra Davis
This UFA Will be 28 Years old this year, but has only been in the league for 4 years, so the wear and tear of his body is not all that bad. Has good athleticism and is playing in a 3-4 System with the Browns. He has only missed 5 Games in 4 years, had 149 Total Tackles, 2 Sacks and 1 interception.
Here is what Scout's Inc thinks of him:

It is pretty well known that for the most part the guy is a very dependable kicker. I heard someone say he doesnt perform other duties, but he has done Kickoffs before and this is such a crucial position, I dont see how Parcells can justify not at least looking into this guy. Remember, we were paying Jeff Robinsion about 1 Million dollars I believe, I dont have a hard time shelling out bucks to this guy, who will almost certainly have a chip on his shoulder and want to prove something.

I chose him over someone like Dewayne Slay and Pollard out of Purdue because I beleive he has a better chance to be available in the 2nd and 3rd Round then the two I just mentioned. Was suppose to go to a big time Program like Nebraksa but went to ACU instead. Mel Kiper says he could be a steal in the 2nd and 3rd Round but has him rated as the 5th best Safety in the Draft. Also, from what I have read, Pollard and Slay's coverage skills have been a concern.
We have a ton of Wiley vets like Glenn, Williams, Henry, Newman, hell even Darren Woodson if we make the playoffs next year , to show this kid how the game is to be played. This is a stab in the dark as I would rather keep Keith Davis or draft a safety with the 2nd or 3rd pick to get even younger on defense.
I wouldnt mind bringing in an old Center or maybe one to start to help AJ out and I am not sure about Wideout.
Please add your comments to this and let's hammer this sucker out to see if we can come up with an agreable roster.

Here is what Scout's Inc thinks of him:
He is a tackle to tackle MLB that can fill inside run lanes. He is a solid hitter and wrap up tackler. He is an aggressive MLB that will attack and meet the FB in the hole. He uses his hands well to take on and get off blocks in-line. He uses his hands well to keep blockers off his lower body. He has very good instincts for the position. He shows a feel in underneath zone coverage - can read route concepts.

The case for Marcus Mcneil
There isn’t a better right tackle prospect in this draft. His ability to dominate at the point makes him a perfect fit on the ride side of any line. But, he also has the natural athleticism to play on the left side. If he can stay low off the snap, he has the ability to dominate as a pass blocker as well. With all his natural talent, McNeill has a chance to go very high come draft day. He should hear his name called in the Top 20 at some point, though some concerns about his back may cause him to slide come draft day if teams are scared off.

The case for Jonathan Scott
Jonathan Scott is the latest in the Longhorn tackle tradition to be a prime NFL prospect. He moved into the right tackle spot as a freshman and has been a starter since. He shifted over to left tackle as a sophomore, and has remained there the past three years. Scott was named All Big 12 as a sophomore and again as a junior.
Scott is the prototype tackle prospect. He’s tall, athletic, has very long arms, and is strong. He has the athleticism and footwork to play on the left side, and the strength to play the right side. Scott’s arms are very long, which will help him keep defenders at bay in the NFL. There really is not anything he is lacking physically as it projects to the next level.

The Case for Danieal Manning
Manning's 2005 junior season was the continuation of one of the great careers in the history of ACU football. Manning finished the season with 49 tackles (33 solo), two tackles for loss, one sack, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three blocked kicks. It was his blocked punt late in the fourth quarter against Northeastern State on
Sept. 10 that led directly to a score that allowed the Wildcats to rally from a 14-0 deficit with less than eight minutes to play to beat the Redmen, 20-14, in overtime.
The versatile Manning also returned 19 punts for 243 yards (12.8 yard average) and one touchdown, and returned 13 kickoffs for 349 yards (26.8 yard average) and one score. He also ran the ball nine times for 20 yards and caught five passes for 28 yards. Manning scored 10 touchdowns in his career, including a school-record five on special teams returns. He scored a
touchdown via pass reception, kickoff return, punt, fumble return and interception return.
Manning -- a three-time first team all-region selection -- led the Wildcats in interceptions with three and returned one for a 35-yard touchdown against Central Oklahoma. Earlier this year he was named first team all-Lone Star Conference South Division for the third straight season, and in August he was the only active ACU player named to school's all-Century Team.
Manning, who transferred to ACU in January 2001 after originally signed with Nebraska out of Corsicana High School, said he'll fondly remember his three-plus years in the Purple and White.

Originally signed with Nebraska in February 2001 as one of the top defensive backs in the nation. However, he never enrolled at Nebraska, instead enrolling at ACU in January 2002. He was recruited by Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Penn State, Purdue, Arkansas and Alabama.
