Mike Ditka was on Mike and Mike and was extremely surprised at how dominant the Cowboys defense was.

Mike Ditka doesn't give out a lot praise but he was extremely impressed at how the Cowboys Defense has been playing the last 4 Weeks.

Not sure if this is true, but Mike Ditka was saying that about 5 Weeks ago, Wade Phillips got more involved with the Defense and really put his stamp on it.

Wade guys are fully integrated into the defense and it is showing. Our in game and half time adjustments have been great too. With our nickle package playing so well I really cannot pinpoint a weakness on D that could cost us a game.

We shutdown Minny's running game, I like our chances against Favre.

I really like our chances in this ball game. I've just got that feeling that we're on the kind of roll you've got to be on to win Championships. I believe we'll beat the Vikings and this defense is a HUGE part of why I feel so good about this team this year. Maybe the biggest reason.

As someone mentioned, many of these young players like Jenkins, Scandrick, Ball, Hatcher, Bowen, etc., who are making plays all over the field you can and should thank Wade. He is taking these kids, many who are late round picks and coaching them into a defense that mauls teams. Guys like V and JWill, once they can absorb NFL speed and more importantly Wade's defensive scheme it will be nuts. Hell, Wade has even found a way to get BobbyC involved and making key plays!
This is exciting because I feel it's really the 1st time the D is truly playing at the level they were capable of. I also believe Wade has more exotic schemes to throw at teams as the next step.

I'm not really that worried about AD though. Especially with the way our defense hits, it wouldn't surprise me if he puts it on the ground next week.

The D is really coming together. We made a really good Eagles Offense look lethargic two weeks in a row. This is no coinkidink.
