Losing your All Pro C can do that to a QB
I guess where there’s smoke there’s fire.
Just give him four years and get this over with.
So there are no talks whatsoever?
As long as we draft a first round QB by 2023 then sure...
Cannot give this QB any more leverage
Just get it done already!
If Stephen/Jerry were smart, they would give in on the 4 year deal, but insist on a lower annual average $ value so that they could use the extra money to field a better team around him (including a C to replace TFred and 3WR).
A deal will eventually get done. The sooner the better as it will create more cap space this year.
If it’s going to be a 4 year deal. The cowboys FO should fight for the total value to be a bit less.
Nearly the beginning of the end for 3+ years...
Wonder if they can do a 5 year with the 5th year being voidable over certain conditions
if this happens...be a helluva off-season.
Good to hear.
The time for debate is over
The idea of letting Dak walk next year and doing what would amount to a complete team rebuild is. Unacceptable
Get it done Jerry and Dak, is for no other reason than to end the debate here in the Fan Zone. Dak will still have plenty of haters but at least they will hating without the ability to ask for a change
I wish we as CowboysZoners could make a pact and make this Dak signing a lot more bearable by agreeing to not make hundreds of threads overreacting to the deal lol. It’s almost insane how cyclical this type of thing is.
1. Argue about said players deal/worth
2. Bang the table to pay/not pay him
3. Freak out once he gets paid
4. Reference him being or not being worth his contract at every good/bad play
Anytime you have to re-engage you might want to rethink who you're getting married to. For Better or Worse in sickness and inaccuracy
Mmmmmm I can almost taste the DELICIOUS tears of unfathomable sadness from Dak’s haters now!!!
no rush to get a deal done with Dak....
