As far as I know they haven't had much interest from teams and may come cheap. If so, would you be open to keeping one of them, or both?

I would think about keeping Jenkins, RB's are a dime a dozen and Jenkins can play at a very high level sometimes. But it would have to be a pretty cheap deal.

Even if he comes cheap I'd let Jenkins go elsewhere. And I love his game, but he's an outside-press man corner, with the addition of Claiborne/Carr he's been relegated to slot and he's clearly not a slot guy. Which is a shame because outside of 2010 he's the best cover man to come through here since prime Newman.

Jenkins' body of work will not get him a big money contract and anyone who thinks so has vastly over rated his skills.

He is a huge risk because of that Baltimore game when he re-injured his shoulder.

I'm willing to bet that he will get a 1 year "prove-it" deal or similar contract from a team willing to put some risk into him.

I said this in last year's offseason when people were claiming he would be getting top money in FA this year.

So far so good but Dallas isn't going to be that team.

I figured Tampa Bay would be all over Mike Jenkins because of how poor their corner play was last year.

Some team will overpay for him. I am surprised that the Texans aren't in the mix yet.

Both of these players should have been traded. The Colts made an offer and the lions called before the trade deadline about Felix. Jerry overvalues his players and refuses to make trades. The draft picks would have helped fill some holes.

A one year cheap deal for either is all I would do.

We were still in the hunt at that point and with Murray's track record I we needed a backup.

This isn't Madden. People don't just trade to trade because they're bored. It has to make sense for both teams.

I would be okay with either of them filling out the roster for cheap. Both have talent.

To be honest I'd keep them both. Neither were a problem for us IMO. 4 of the 5 on the o-line can be upgraded I'd like to see something done there ignoring it will only get us similar results next season. I know its a dead horse being being but hey, it's the truth. Improve the line so that Tony can be protected, we can run the ball in short yardage situations, extend drives, and put the ball into the endzone and watch this team kick a%#@.

Neither Jenkins or Felix was going to be the difference in going to the playoffs or not. Frlix was terrible for the first helf of the season and wasn't much better the second half. Jenkins had an attitude problem from the time they signed Carr and drafted Mo. That is two first round picks that are walking away with nothing to show for it. It was bad management and it happens much too often.

The market is heavy on corners at the moment. Jenkins will eventually get paid more than we would be willing to give him.

Its only been two days.

I would bring Jenkins back, but he won't resign to be the 3rd or 4th guy when someone will make him a starter. Felix Jones had a few good seasons for us but a rookie could probably come in and have similar production. I always pictured Felix as that utility player that could return kicks and be dangerous out of the backfield, but didnt quite pan out that way.
