So yesterday I had espn on in the background when nfl live came on. They had a huge roundtable about Beckham Jr.'s actions. It was hilarious. It was like an SNL skit. Its espn sinking to a new low.

Nothing Beckham did deserved a big rountable like that and its absurd how espn creates this stuff out of basically nothing. Usually they save that type of thing for something Dallas related. At one point Herm Edwards said when he was young he had his grahm crackers and milk taken away and its time to take away ODB's crackers and milk!!! He was serious. SNL should thank them for this nonsense and do a spoof of it.

anyway, the whole time I was thinking the giants and beckham did nothing to deserve this kind of thing and its foolish, then of course they had to insert dez. They all said dez was a bigger problem and thankfully odb isn't that bad. Nuts.

then this morning i was dropping my kids off at school and was listening to mike and mike and they were doing the same schtick on ODB. Danny Kannel was on because he does college football with them and he said would you rather have odb or Dez bryant with all his problems. My first thought was what problems? He hasn't been arrested or suspended.

Mike Golic and the rest agreed that Dez was much worse than Beckham and golic said Dez FIGHTS with his teammates and coaches on the sideline and at practice, NEVER goes to meetings and gets in all kinds of trouble off the field to which all three agreed.

When has Dez ever fought with anyone on the sideline? When has he ever fought with a coach or said anything bad about a coach? I get that dez was rough around the edges but if you grew up with no parents and slept in the high school gym you might be a different kind of guy also. Its weird it feels like they just take a mixture of misinformation, problems of other players and the myths that get passed around about Dallas players and applying it to Dez.

anyway its just comical to me that they are attacking beckham like this and that they all just so carelessly put all this stuff on Dez. I only bring this up because of the amount of morons that watch these shows and take them as gospel. When people hear this they then think Dez is some sort of criminal who fights his teammates or whatever. pretty foolish.

I can't believe I made a thread about espn but i just find it so outrageous and silly. Antonio pierce and tim hassleback on tv being critical of guys getting mad or frustrated about losing..completely ridiculous.

ODB is becoming a team killer and destraction-looking a lot like TO honestly and with the response from teamates and management will go down that same road if he does not get his act together

If ODB had some of the games that Dez had with very limited targets he would be off his rocker.

Dez is much lesser of a problem than Beckham and Dez respects his competition while ODB trashes and belittles them and tries to take their head off.

Well they did the one thing that they set out to do and that was to gain an audience.

I completely agree with everything in this post, except the part about "the morons who watch these shows"

Hey! I watch these shows, theebs. Or maybe I'm less self-aware than I thought, and am, indeed, a moron :)

Loving the breakdown that ODB is having right now. Still love the talent, but he's quickly being compared to a young TO as TO began to become elite, and became as much of a distraction as that of an effective teammmate.

honestly that cheap shot to josh norman's head last year was worse than anything dez has done in his career.

i hope they lose to the packers. they're on the verge of blowing up.

Still can't believe that spear head shot didn't get more outrage than it did. He could have seriously ruined Norman with that hit. Luckily for Norman, dude is tough as nails and (apparently) has a hard head :)

i guarantee you if dez did something like that the east coast media would be demanding a multi-game suspension, huge fine, draft picks, and a jail sentence.

Just justifies my own reasons I don't listen to or watch a lot of shows anymore.
Heck I don't listen as much to The Fan or The Ticket as much either. A good part of the time, they are just as bad, if not worse.

and when I do see some of the shows, like 1st Fake with A.S.S [that is S.A.S. real identity] it is by accident when channel surfing.

And when I do listen or watch, when they start this crap, I will change the channel or station. I will listen to the constructive criticism, but not that garbage.
Tell me we struggle with the pass rush, and what can be done. Not that Dez farted on the sideline, then blamed it on Rowdy, and they started to argue.

apparently I am a moron also because I was watching it!

Fortunately this isn't, It's just talk show BS... I don't think anyone would consider shows like The View as Journalism. I liken these shows to that type of us.

It a form of journalism. The other forms are dead too.

I hate to sound mean but love watching Beckham with that whiny face. It's like someone took his lollipop and told him to grow up. He was such a phenom and now when things aren't so great he turns into a 4 year old.
That said, Dez has not had much production since he's been paid. He's been hurt and had a bad year last year with quite a few drops when he played. At present, if he's consistently not showing up or late to practice, this is not a good either. Dez needs to show people his head, heart and body are all about team winning. He's a lightning rod for controversy and most is brought upon by his own actions. Don't know the remedy or you just leave it alone but its out there.

I believe this is what is termed a slow news week. OBJ brought this on himself, and Eli did add fuel to the fire with his comments. Dez was a handful(ask David Wells) when he came out but that is not the case these last three or so years, the national media has selective memory when it suites their story.
