I think looking back a few years from now, we'll appreciate Parcells for what he did in putting this team together. This team is not even close to reaching it's potential from a talent standpoint. So from this perspective I will miss Parcells.
With that said, I do think that Parcells' way of doing things is flawed. I don't think Dallas was necessarily out played this year or even necesarily out schemed. Short and sweet, I thought Dallas was held back.
I think Dallas needs someone who can get the city and team excited about football. A hardnosed kinda guy who has the respect of his team. A go-for-the-jugular type. A person who plays to win by 30 points not a guy who plays not to lose. Aggressive not scared. A coach who everyone knows is going to come in and throw everything they can at an opponent.
A guy I would love to see interviewed for sure would be Mike Singletary. I think he would bring that level of excitement. Players would respect him - especially the defensive guys. He was outstanding in Baltimore and is already turning around what was once a horrid 49ers defense. If we hired this guy and hired a creative Offensive Coordinator, I think we, as fans, would be left in good hands. And I'll say this, IF he coaches with the same aggression as he played, that would be pretty exciting.
