He’s wrong (IMO) that Smith is a year away from starting. I think he’s going to be a day one starter at LG and make a massive difference from the start. Perhaps he meant a year away from starting at OT… which I would agree with.
He's likely a Cowboys fan . . . and that's OK! The fact that he short-circuited the Eagles makes him a real pal. A good man, indeed.
No kidding? Sheesh! I guess that just goes to show how wrong I can be! Color my face red. I found it odd that he gave us a B and the Eagles a B+, when it seemed they did much better. I read his words altogether too briefly, without seeing it correctly. My bad. I think we did appreciably. I felt much better today than I did yesterday though.
When a FO pretty much sits on their hands and does nothing to bring in some quality FAs then expect the worst come next season. Where did all the Gregory money go after he decided to jump ship? This FO had an opportunity to sign a couple of quality LBers which would have freed up Parsons to roam a little next year, but no they did nothing and now they are going to lean too hard on this kid which will end up getting this stud hurt and killing any chances of this team performing decently in their own division. So don't expect a repeat of last year in the Eastern Division.........................
100% correct. We all know that it's all based on potential and we won't fully know for a couple years. But it is fun to read what others thought about our draft.
Yeah it seems like this was more of a draft for 2023. Getting the team ready for 2023 and continuing the contract purge and influx of new players. Not sure how I feel about that. I guess I'm still excited that we're shoring up the offensive line and purging contracts. Who knows what Jerry is thinking. I still think we had a good draft but I feel we'll see the payoff in 2023 and 2024.
